Petros Podcasts Important message

2007-03-15 Thread petrakigianos-giasou

If your podcatcher downloaded the RAVSetup.exe file sometime
yesterday or today please delete it. This is an application file
and not a mp3 file. For some reason The podcatcher is smart
enough to download .exe files into your podcatcher also. So do
not run this file. Sorry for any inconveniences caused here.

I have since removed the html code from my blog on this file and
left just the URL direct download link for Replay AV 2.07

Again I apologize to you.

Something new everyday to learn from.

If you are subscribed to my podcast feed address and your
podcatcher like Replay AV or Juice Receiver downloaded the .exe
file please delete it from your folder. To my shock the
podcatchers are able to download .exe files too. Basically on my
blog I posted news on Replay AV 8.07 and the direct download URL
for it (.exe). Sorry for all this. Just delete the RAVSetup.exe
file from the folder.

I am very sorry for all this. I learn something new everyday.

I have since corrected this problem.

Dana, This was on another list. I'm posting it here FYI.

Just letting you guys know, that those of you complaining about the library
focus issues, they have been fixed in a public beta. IT's stable, but if your
wary of running beta stuff, you might want to hold off, but if your a heavy
library user like myself, you might just want to jump right in. The link to
grab the new winamp is

http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Winamp_5_Full/1066336873/1

That link is updated continusly, so it's always the latest publicly avaliable
version.

There's one thing you should be aware of, the winamp library, while accessible
once again, still focuses on the html portion of the window, so you'll have
to hit f6, to get back to where you were in the treeview. I hope this helps
someone!

I posted the below message to the JFW list and received no response, so I
was hoping someone on this list may have an answer.

How does macro media flash player work with JAWS in a chatting situation? If
anyone has tried this, and still has access to a web page or other place
where Macro Media flash player is used for chatting, would you e-mail
off-list? Thanks.

Cher,

It's supposed to be off, except when the station info window is open. You
can open it manually, by checking that box. But, on my installation, at

I'll have to take a deeper look at the preferences, and see if there is

Station Playlist

2007-03-15 Thread Jana Jackson
Hi! I'm currently looking at various broadcasting tools, and I've heard
that Station Playlist is very accessible. I downloaded a demo of Creator,
and it was somewhat friendly. However, I noticed that when I was creating a
playlist, it wouldn't show me all of my sub-folders within my music folder
after I had selected a tune. It would default to whatever sub-folder I had
selected, and no matter what I did, it wouldn't let me see any of the other
ones. Do I need Jaws scripts to use it well? And is the Studio software
accessible? My guess is that I probably don't necessarily need that, since
I'm using Winamp. May not need Creator either, but I thought it might be
helpful, since it keeps track of the time for you. I don't have an entire
station, just a 2-hour show which will start as soon as I can figure out how
to fit all the pieces of the puzzle together. Smile

Jana

Hello,

I am a new learner of the GoldWave program and want to record from an

statistics question

2007-03-15 Thread Denny Daughters
Hi guys,
When a program like winamp asks to send back anonymous statistics back to
the server, what exactly are they getting? I've noticed other programs that
gather stats too. Are they looking at what's on my hard drive? Just curious.

Re: Looking for an odd little adapter plug

2007-03-15 Thread John J. Jacques
Hi Kathy and all, it sounds like what you are looking for is the exact
opisit of a barrel connect, that is back to back male connectors, rather
than female! I have seen them in quarter inch for connecting effects
peddles together, but never in one eighth inch like you are looking for!

Have a good one:

Re: Looking for an odd little adapter plug

2007-03-15 Thread Gary G Schindler
If this is the case, have someone solder a couple of 3.5 male plugs together
back
to back. Radio shack sells patch cords about a foot long like that, but Kathy
seems to want no cord in the middle at all I guess.

RE: Station Playlist

2007-03-15 Thread Judy W

I have friends who love station playlist studio. You don't need the schedule
creator if you are going in for a two hour show. Pick your music and paste
into studio if you decide to get it. You will probably need help setting it
up correctly...

Subject: Station Playlist

Smile
