Re: is lightscribe accessible?

2008-11-08 Thread Alexander Shannon

Hi Robbie,

In answer to your question, I also have an Hp desktop, with a Lightscribe
enabled drive. and after reading messages on this thread and taking a look
at the web, I have concluded that actual burning of CDS seems to be possible
with normal CDs, however, if you are wanting to use Lightscribe to label a
CD then you need special Lightscribe disks. Other members of this list may
be able to give you further information.

Re: Question about Amazon MP3 downloads

2008-11-08 Thread Kathy Szinnyey
Hi, Lynn. Have you signed up for one-click shopping, or whatever that's
called? It's very cool. Once you've signed up for it, you don't have to
worry about adding things to y our cart when you're downloading mp3's.
Amazon knows who you are and you don't go through all that check out process
because Amazon has all your information stored. You just click But Track or
Buy Album and your songs magically appear wherever you want them to go. But
the key here is to sign up for one click services.

Peace,
Kathy

Subject: Question about Amazon MP3 downloads

| Hi everyone. I am wondering if there is a way that I could download
| multiple MP3's with Amazon without having to go through the checkout
process
| after each song? It's a fairly simple process when I'm downloading
albums,
| but lets say, for instance, that I want to download six songs, all from
| different albums or even different artists. As it stands now, it sends me
| through the checkout process multiple times. I don't see an add to cart
| link like I do for other merchandise I purchase on Amazon.
|
| Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

New Winamp and Jaws scripts

2008-11-08 Thread Morey Worthington

Hello all,
Using the newest version of Winamp and Jaws 10.
Are there any newer scripts available for the newest version of Winamp and
Jaws 10?

Or, do the older scripts work just fine?
Having a problem setting a time marker with what used to be the Ctrl/M key.
What might they be now?
Thanks in advance.

Re: is lightscribe accessible?

2008-11-08 Thread Ray
Yes indeed, you do need to buy Light Scribe Discs to print images using this
method.

When I bought my Philips USB Light Scribe burner it came bundled with Nero 7
or 8 which does allow for the creation or transfer of images to these discs.
I haven't got round to trying this yet. It is almost certainly going to be
a graphics intensive part of the Nero Suite but you may in fact be able to
paste in text created in another program so as not to have to grapple with
the program's own composition facilities.

Re: is lightscribe accessible?

Hello. Yes, you do if you want to label the other side of the cd or
dvd. Otherwise, it will burn cd's or dvd's.--Matthew Chao

Yes it is. If you go to lightscribe.org and download LightScribe Simple
Labeller, you can write a label on the disk. You probably can't include
all the track names, but you can easily put your name and the name of
the disk.
You need a burner that is enabled with LightScribe and disks that are
LightScribe enabled.
When you are done burning the music to the disk, flip the disk over in
the same drive and go to the LightScribe burning program. Open it and
follow the prompts.
There are other LightScribe programs that permit creation of fancier
disk labels, but I haven't tried those.
Sonic and Nero and I presume Roxio all have LightScribe labelling
components to them.

Re: New Winamp and Jaws scripts

2008-11-08 Thread Chris Skarstad

Hi

I think you might've gotten your hotkeys a little confused there. To
set a time marker, you press the letter m, all on its own.

This goes for both JAWS and Window-eyes as well.

Try that.
