Hi I have the new winamp beta installed.
It is working fine but now going threw the winamp library I don't see
the a o l and c b s part of the library like I did in 5.41.
So when I configured it I used the full install and when I got the list
of things to select like the a o l radio and things like that.
I just didn't select anything and I don/t see the a o l or cbs radio in
the library at all or is it there and just it is hidden.

So all assistance is welcome with this.

2009-01-23 Thread Barry Chapman
I installed the Winamp 5.55 beta, but when I try to configure my SQRSoft
Crossfade output plugin, I am prompted to send an error
report and Winamp closes. I had a similar problem with version 5.54, so have
now gone back to 5.53. Has anyone else experienced
this problem?

Thanks,

OK. Seems to work, mostly. I think the details are being cut off if the
total text is long. But it doesn't seem to take up much of the width of the
screen. I have reduced the font to 9 to try to make this better.

I'd rather use Winamp than Windows Media as someone suggested, because I
want to try doing internet broadcasting.

Sonar shortcut keys

2009-01-23 Thread Martin, Tim A., NMDOT
Hi listers,

I am getting ready to register Sonar Producer 7 and am wondering if
anyone is using the program or any of the Sonar versions with
WindowEyes?

Also I would appreciate shortcut keys if they are available in the
program.

I used CakeWalk ver 9 for a long time, but have needed to take the
upgrade plunge for some current things I'm going to be working on.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Tim Martin

I don't have winamp, but I do have Windows Media Player and

split intonamed tracks.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hi Sylvia,
the professional will do 16 tracks at a time, but in doing that, it adds
allot of channels to your computer.

So stay with the Platinum version.

The only thing I don't like about the platinum edition is that you can
only

convert two tracks at a time.

   Hi gang,
I've been using Soundtaxi Platinum for awhile, but now I've bought
Soundtaxi
Professional, which is suppose to be 50 percent faster, but I don't see
any

difference in the two.
I wonder if anyone else has found this?
If anyone knows of a way to make it faster, please let me know.
If there is not, I suggest you stick with the Platinum, which is about
$10.00 cheaper.

2009-01-23 Thread Peter Alan Smith
Yes, that's an easy one. Go into general preferences, or control p, and
arrow down to titles, tab along until you hear an edit field describing how
you want titles to read. It has lots of parenthesis, brackets, $ signs,
etc. I just removed the words artist, title and file name and put them in
the order you want. I do prefer having title then artist and file name. I
hate it when the artist is listed as various artists!

Hope that was clearer than mud!

Cheers,

Peter

Re: soundtaxi

2009-01-23 Thread Sylvia
I just bought the platinum version myself and I think I'll stick with that.
The only thing I don't like about the platinum edition is that you can only
convert two tracks at a time.

Hi gang,
I've been using Soundtaxi Platinum for awhile, but now I've bought Soundtaxi
Professional, which is suppose to be 50 percent faster, but I don't see any
difference in the two.
I wonder if anyone else has found this?
If anyone knows of a way to make it faster, please let me know.
If there is not, I suggest you stick with the Platinum, which is about
$10.00 cheaper.

2009-01-23 Thread Peter Scanlon
I asked this a few weeks ago with no response.

Playlists in my Winamp appear like this Number, Artist, Title, time.
Is there a way to have the title before the Artist and also to display the
Album name?

Re: Broadcasting on Live 365?

2009-01-23 Thread Kathy Szinnyey
Hi, Larry! My husband and I do have a station (shameless promotion alert,
hahahaha!) (see signature below. It is pretty blind friendly but I still
haven't totally mastered uploading new playlists totally on my own. Goal
for this year: Master Live 365! I know it is doable but I find the whole
procedure annoying and awkward. But that's just me. I would certainly go
for it and you can email me off list if you like:

joyfulreneg...@insightbb.com

I do wish some really savvy blind person would put together a nice
step-by-step tutorial. Any takers?

Peace,
Kathy

| Does anyone here produce and stream broadcasts for Live 365? If so, I'm
| interested in knowing whether their software is blind friendly.
|
| Though I used to work as a DJ, I have absolutely no experience in
