Re: Melodyne

2011-05-10 Thread Jörgen Hansson

Hi keeth!
melodyne is a note editor for vocals, you can use the right and left arrows
on your keyboard to listen to the notes of the vocals of the song. then with
a midi keyboard you can edit the actual notes. for example, let's say that
you have a vocal part where a note is a little bit out of pitch, then you
can use tha vocal wave file and go with the left and right arrows, and when
you hear that note which is out of key, you can simply press one of the
notes on the midi keyboard which is coresponding to that note in that key
whoch the song is in.

hope this helps.
Regards,
Jörgen Hansson!

Hello, my name is keith and i'm new to this list. I am blind and use jaws

success with using Melodyne with Jaws. I'm trying to use this program to
do some work to my voice tracks but i'm having problems getting to most of
the things on the Melodyne screen. Any help will be great apreciated.
Thanks in advance. Oh yeah i'm using a windows vista desktop pc.

Hello List: Have an interesting situation with Windows Media Player:
let's say I am running an audio stream that uses Windows Media Player.
Then I open another program such as Outlook Express; let's also say I may
open another program; I'm noticing that I cannot get back to the Windows
Media Player's window! The only way to accomplish this is to again click
the Windows Media Player shortcut on my desk top! This is something that
I can certainly do (if I have to) I just wonder if this is the normal way
this should behave! Am running Windows Media 11; running Jaws 12 and
Windows XP (home edition) Service Pack 3.

Windows Media Question

2011-05-10 Thread Tom Kaufman
Hello List: Have an interesting thing going on with Windows Media Player: if I
am playing something (let's say an audio stream) and am using Windows Media
Player to stream it) if I open something else, like my email program or some
other program, I find that I cannot get back to the Windows Media Player
window! The only way I can get back to Windows Media Player is to hit the
shortcut to Windows Media Player on my desk top! Is this normal? If not, how
do I get around this? Am running Jaws 12, Windows XP (home edition with
Service Pack 3) this isn't a real big deal as I certainly can just hit the
Windows Media Player icon on the desk top; am just wondering why I would have
to do this; why am I losing the Windows Media Player window?
