recording with replay av
Hi all Having some difficulty in recording a youtube stream with replay av. I can get to where I have the specific url added as a show. In the context menu there is an option something like start/record download. I press on enter and then it tells me that the programme is connecting. After a few seconds it simply reverts back to the name of the show. Also in the record folder there is no mp3 file although I have selected mp3 128 kbps. Re: recording with replay av
You need a program like Media Catcher to download and convert Youtube videos. If you're only going to use this program for this purpose, consider it as a sort of freeware. However if you want to download and convert media from other sources, then the demo limits you to the first half of the converted output; the rest well you will have to pay for. Re: recording with replay av
You might need an update. That's at least the problem with free youtube download. If it doesn't work with youtube anymore I always check for an update which usually helps. Artist And Title Using Nero Six
Is there a way to have Nero six use the song title and artist information from the file name to write it on a CD? I checked the box that says write text to CD but all it did was write track 1, track 2 etc and for artist it says unknown. The manual is a bit vague. There are edit boxes to enter song title and artist for each track but that's a lot of work. Thanks, Tom To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Sound cards for HP notebook computers
Hi! I've used many sound cards for desktop computers in my time, the notebook computer is a completely new area for me and its so new that I don't even know the correct name for the card slot my HP Notebook has, think it might be PCI express? I'm sure soemone will correct me on this. Anyway, I'm looking for a second sound device for my new machine so does anyone have any recommendations? could use a Imic but I really want to keep USB ports free if I can for other devices though I need not worry too much given the fact that I have 4 USB ports on the machine. Re: Sound cards for HP notebook computers
What HP notebook computer do you have? I don't think I've seen a card slot in a notebook computer in years. They used to have PCMCIA slots, which I think were rebranded to PC Card slots at some point, but usually I think you just see card readers and USB ports on notebook computers now a days. PCI Express slots are usually available in PC towers, but unless there's some mini version of PCI Express, I cn't imagine you'd have access to anything like that in a notebook. I think your best option will turn out to be a USB sound card. If you're worried about the availability of USB ports, you can get a powered hub or even a docking station. Are you looking for something high quality or something just for voice. If high quality and you can afford it and need it just for playback go with the Devil Sound usb dec. RE: Sound cards for HP notebook computers
Yep, it sounds like a pretty interesting card, I've looked at it at www.sweetwater.com they cell it. I shaired it on my face book page. They say the pre-amps are almost silent. Wether that's ccompletely true or not, I know not since I've never heard it. My favorite but it's $650 is the Sound-Devices USB pre2 card. They say this one sounds like their 744-T recorder. I dethinately know what that sounds like having heard Neal's and I love it. I'm talking about Neal Ewers of course. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of ken reed Sent: Tuesday, September 13, 2011 11:50 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Sound cards for HP notebook computers I would look in to the m-audio's fast track pro. Hi! I've written about these before as have others on this list so won't go into the details of them again, this message concerns those living in australia who may be interested in purchasing one of these favulous pieces of equipment and who may have had difficulty finding one in the past. Harvey Norman are selling the Squeezebox Boom for $299.00 which isn't a bad price, certainly a better price than the $399.00 Dick Smith and other stores quoted me. There's an Australian Logitech store on Ebay who are selling them for $229.00 which includes delivery Australia wide. I've had my Squeezebox Boom for 6 months now and I really enjoy using it, thanks Jim smile.. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
