Yes..you do need the latest version of the ACB Tuner in order for it to work now. Software audio equalizer for Windows7
Hello gang. My new Win7 laptop's audio driver has its deficiencies in that the sound quality coming out of the headphones, laptop speakers as well as through my upper end audio DAC and home is consistently inferior. through troubleshooting I found that I need to adjust the amplitude of a certain audio frequency band via a graphic equalizer. I do not want to get a hardware equalizer. Can you recommend a software equalizer that once adjusted to my preference effects the audio coming out of all the 3 outputs mentioned above: headphone jack, laptop speakers and home stereo? It is not free, but nearly so, costs only about $10 when buying through Paypal; it is called MaPlEr and you can find it at www.mar-dy.com where Marco and Andy, two German blind developers have it, as well as a game called Mississippi. It is great not only to play files of many formats, but also to create and manage playlists, rip tracks and convert audio, listen to radio streams and record them, many, many more features, all accesible, at least with Jaws.
