Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you are having the same problem, which you have described much more clearly than I did. I am going to speak with someone today who is more computer savvy than I. I will let you all know if we find a solution. Maybe we should also email Skype and let them know about this. When I try to run the file, I then get an Internet security dialog telling me the publisher could not be verified, and when I try to go ahead and run it any way, it then says the file skypesetup.exe is not a valid win32 application (and there's an OK button to get out of the dialog). I tried downloading it from www.majorgeeks.com but the first few times I wasn't even getting a file download dialog to enable me to choose to save the file and where to save it etc, and when I finally did get one, I got the same result, but on that site version 3.2.0.163 is still listed as a Beta. Any suggestions/help greatly appreciated. I'm using Jaws 8.0 and Win XP Home. Thanks, Mary. I think contacting Skype is a good idea too and I almost did that myself, but I wanted to see who else was experiencing this and whether there was some simple explanation. To Mary and Vivien: A little tip to download Skype or programs in general: instead of clicking/pressing enter on the download link on the page simply do it in the context menu and save target as; then you'll get really the whole program. It seems the information bar doesn't let you download it complete and as a result the file gets somehow corrupted; I had the same problem downloading programs and only via the context menu it worked fine; I still did get the security window and clicked OK to accept the program anyway but then there were no more errors.
