I, I have a turtle beach Santa Cruz card in my back up PC. This card is almost ten years old and it is by far, the best little card for XP and the jaws screen reader. Clear with no pops, cracks or stuttering. The only place you can find one is on EBay. You can grab one for around $10. hthe - Original Message - From: "Ray" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Friday, August 14, 2009 6:42 AM Subject: Re: Sound Soundcard Advice My two cents worth? Went to NewEgg.com and found this list of TurtleBeach cards: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010290057%2050001431&name=Turtle%20Beach%2fVoyetra If you can convey the exact model you've purchased I would greatly appreciate it. One thing that seems a bit odd is that these TurtleBeach cards seem much less expensive than the M Audio cards. Do you know why? With that said, what do some of you believe are the best sound cards out there? I'm primarily concerned with recording my voice and all audio coming out of my computer. If you have just a card make and model I'll go ahead and research on my own so don't worry too much about providing links and such.
