I'm just guessing at who you're directing this to and what you're talking about, since you didn't include the message you're replying to, but I suspect you're right, although it seems like there are more variables involved with the play back and recording devices then there is with just one piece of software that will be working directly with the bits. Yes I am able to play other Aac files in Winamp so long as it has an M4A extension. Sound Taxi for some reasons converts them to an Aac extension. Goog points. Thanks. Joe At 17:01 29/03/2013, you wrote: I convert video files to audio files all the time. The resulting audio files take up a fraction of the space of the original video files. Plus, although it's probably not an issue in this case, the audio files are much more portable and can be played on many more devices. Converting files also takes a fraction of the time and results in better quality than playing the video file and recording it in real time. I haven't used MrV files before, but if I were to work with them on Windows, I'd check out Switch before anything else. On 03/29/2013 10:43 AM, Joe Paton wrote: Surely m4v files are video format? Re: converting itunes m4v files to mp3
I convert video files to audio files all the time.
