[PD] Pd-extended PPC autobuild Jack OSX

2008-05-22 Thread Si Mills
I noticed the other day that when selecting to run in Jack mode (with
Jack booted) the system becomes unusably sluggish.

This happens in the PPC version of 0.40.3 -extended that I downloaded
the other day from Autobuild and Jack osx 0.77. I haven't tried one of
the latest builds.

I'm adding this to the bug tracker

But you type the same with both layouts. To not have to type the prefix,
you just add the prefix directory directly to your path with a pd-path
setting, declare, import or whatever. The issue of help files not being
found is not related to that. Which brings to my mind: I think, Pd may
benefit from an option to set the -helppath dynamically, too, e.g. in

what I have seen working (but only in jitter) are mesh files that do
morphing between different states based on skeleton animation.
for gem this would require uv mapping and an object that can fade
between vertex meshes. the object that reads and handles the animated
models could be based on a game engine like ogre.

Hi IOhannes, all!

Excuse my insistence but I can't use OSC communication with mrpeach's OSC
objects.
I have tried both Pd-vanilla 0.41-4 Pd-extended 0.39.3 on Windows XP, and
I only obtain an error message:

error: udpsend_send: item 13 (-52.00) is not between 0 and 255
error: udpsend_send: item 16 (-1.00) is not between 0 and 255

when I send a float or negative value with [packOSC].

Jack said there is no error on MacOSX.4.11, PowerBook G4,
pd-extended 20080520.

Is that a bug? Or I'm wrong with something?

I'm really stuck with this problem!

Thanks.

To elaborate on that, the idea is that [123( should send a byte, and
