Thanks Jack. I no longer know what I want to do in regard to a move. A year ago I was following through on plans my wife and I had made. Now, I've put the brakes on. I like my house and yard. I might still move, because it's far too big for just my son and me. But I have to think it over. Meanwhile my business is growing and there are some advantages to being in the metro Detroit area. I'm far enough out that it's pretty and rural but close enough that I'm called in to interact with the Detroit Three. I'm good for now. PESO: Apple Blossom Time
I was out shooting birds but saw this shot, so I pulled the trigger. Mounted on the K-1 was the D FA 150-450 with the DA 1.4X converter. Wrong combination for the job, but it worked out. That's mainly due to the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits using the military for domestic law enforcement. The soldiers deployed to America's airports after 9/11/2001 came from the National Guard. The governor of the state *can* use the National Guard in that manner. I was on airport duty at RDU airport until mid-September 2003 (when the 30th BCT mobilized for Iraq).
