Seeing that this is PDML and knowing about your stash of old
computers, I was just wondering:
Do you also have medium and large parts bins?

Yes, I do, Ecke!

Medium parts go in closets.

Large parts go in the family room...

I just noticed that my K20 now has a new eyecup, not the old broken
one that I had glued back together, so they did fix it under the
radar. A nice, and appreciated gesture. All in all, I'm quite
happy with the job that they did. They even did all the basic
cleaning and adjusting without charging me.

When I sent my K-20 in for CLA two years ago, I sent the torn rubber
hood in as well, and asked that it be replaced. The camera came back
without the hood, and no replacement. I called about it, and they said
they would look into it. I expected to be charged for it. But quite a
few weeks later I received a new hood in the mail, and a magnifying
hood as well ! As I had ordered a replacement in the meantime, I now
have a spare in my small parts bin.
