Sure, Dave, put all the pressure on me! Well, I'm going to be selfish, then. Horsey stuff in Pickering does sound interesting, but I'd love to take out the Leica for some fun on the street. So I say, Beaches Jazz Fest. Sunday is my best day, 'cause I'd have to leave whatever we'd be doing on Saturday at about 3 or 3:30. I know the Beaches, but not any of the names of the bars (I've been to the bars, just don't know their names g). So how about Kew Gardens, right on Queen Street (that's less than a half block) at around 2:00 on Sunday? Of course, any other suggestions are fine with me, but I throw that out for consideration (as Rod Serling would say...). regards, frank [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Franko.. make the call ? -- The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds. Re: OT: TOPDML / TOPUG Meeting Potential ?
Hi, Jeff, Yeah. 2 pm Saturday, at Kew Gardens. What's the cross-street? I think it begins with a K. Kennilworth, maybe? Anyway, once you get to the Beaches area of Queen East (basically it starts at Woodbine, I think), you go east a few blocks, and Kew Gardens is on the south side of Queen. I don't know what the best landmark in the park is, so I'm suggesting just meeting on Queen, right in front of the Park. The Park basically fronts on Queen for about 1/2 block. Should be pretty easy to find each other. Or maybe one of the others knows of a bar or better place along the Queen East Beaches area at which we could meet, but that's my suggestion until a better one is made. Of course, at this point, there's just you and I confirmed for Sat aft, so let's see what others say. regards, frank Jeff wrote: So you are saying BJF on Saturday could be a go? 2PM Kew Gardens?
