PESO - Undisturbed

2015-03-09 Thread Rick Womer
I've done very little shooting in 2015: It's been very cold, and I've hurried
to work and then come home well after dark.

Saturday was different, with scattered high clouds and temps ~4C/40F. I took a
long photo-walk to nearby Woodland Cemetery. For the next few days I will
torment you with pics.

(K-5, DA 16-45)

Comments appreciated!

Got skis? snow shoes? :-)
that little patch of sunlight on the left makes this rather cheery

feel better - and next year you will get a flu shot, right?

Very well rendered.

...but in rendering I pushed it up a wee bit so some of the very brightest
highlights are clipped. Looked better that way.

I need to keep that in mind as I usually just go 'mechanical' with the
histogram in rendering during the optimization of the image from RAW.
Mechanical = no clipping w/o regard to actual image.

My feeling is that the snow is ideally exposed. Partially due to the title and
theme of the image. Just about perfect all around, Paul.
Yeah, don't mess with the flu this year and get past it soon!
