I located the official receipt which had slipped from my pocket on the truck floor. It says' "1880 cast iron fire truck ladder wagon and single horse". I sent the photo to a friend still working at my old survey company(he is the only stereo plotter they have, so he's safe for a while) and is up on this old stuff, and he guesstimated $500 or there abouts. The auctioneer started at $300, but went down, as they ususually do, then, it went up.
