That's why I provided a basis for relativity: As affordable as the FA50 f/1.4 and FA135 f/2.8. It shouldn't be impossible to produce a well-regarded 75 to 85mm prime f/2 FA (or D-FA) lens that could sell for around $350.

I know a guy who's selling af 43mm, a 31 mm, a 77mm and a FA 2.0/24mm. Used but like new. The 24mm shows some singn of wear. Buy from BH or Adorama. They are great, both of them. But -- why? I mean, why 43mm? I am just curious. There seem to be a world of normal pentax lenses, all fantastic optically, all for a fraction of price. 77mm and 31mm are kinda unique (31 is the fastest wide, and 77 is pretty much the only game, since 85/1.4 seems to have disappeared).
