Sure. We have subways in Toronto LOL (although I'm sure they ain't the same as those in NYC). You'd only need to take one subway line from Ann's, no transfers. Or, maybe I could get an escort of New York bike messengers to take me over by bike. Now ~that~ I wouldn't do alone... g. Sure, you could ride over the 59th Street bridge, and we're not too far from there by bike. People do it all the time, but I've known a couple of people who have gotten hit. Amita
Re: The Bunny Lies Down On Broadway
By bike it's really easy. But instead of going over the bridge, I would recommend taking the Roosevelt Island tramway, enjoy a view and avoid the accidents at the same time. And from the Roosevelt island, it's ~30 minutes walk to Astoria Blvd. best, mishka On 6/26/05, Amita Guha [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Sure. Geez, Mishka, I keep forgetting you're in NYC. Well, I know that Amita will be in Detroit until Monday, and Herb's busy, but may be around on Sunday. I'll be staying with Annsan. I'm thinking Sunday may be the best day to get together with folks, and maybe I can meet up with Amita on Monday, or even quickly on Tuesday before my flight leaves or something. Actually, my flight home gets in in the early evening, so I should be home by 8. So I might be able to do something that night. Mishka, do you think we can convince Frank and Ann to come out to the Bohemian Beer Garden on Sunday night? :) Monday is still wide open for me as well, anytime. Amita

The only problem is that the place has lately been really, really crowded on Sunday nights, seemingly with Manhattanites. :But I hear that there's a new bar across the street called the Sparrow that's pretty good. So what do you think, Ann and Frank? Care to venture out to Queens for a drink next Sunday?
