As long as you don't hit somebody I don't see any problem with it. If
you do hit someone expect return gunfire.

Maybe not North Carolina, but South Carolina would let you do that,

NC has a fairly strict open containers law. A gun in one hand
probably would not be a problem, but the open beer would.

Got in to Durham last night after about 13 hours of driving from
Boston (a couple of construction delays but no major problems).
Getting ready to set of for the mountains in a few minutes.

http://www.robertstech.com/temp/

My video documentation of the trip went fairly well - learning about
the video capabilities of the K5 isn't too tough - but I won't be able
to put any on line for a while because my version of Adobe Premiere
Pro (CS4) apparently doesn't have the codec necessary for dealing with
the K5's video files. Unless I can download some kind of converter I'm
going to be stuck using my little Flip Video camcorder for the time
being.

Re: Arrived in NC

2009-05-27 Thread ann sanfedele
I've really been strapped for time to write here but popping on and
checking out the index of posts
I had to glom onto this... remembering very fondly one terrific weekend
where I was the fourth
musketeer with you 3 (to those not in the know, mark, chainsaw brooks
and knarf) in that cabin...
still giggling remember how Don proposed that being a girl I should have
the big foldout in the livingroom
and the three guys should get the bunk beds in back - but we were
having none of that . We awarded

Dave and his vocal nose the livingroom ... I love that cabin, too...

Fond memories, but nice things are happening here in NYC to make me feel
less sorry for myself having

to miss this coming weekend...

You boys be nice to Christine, now!

xo,
ann

I'm now safely ensconced in the cabin (and roughing it by Cotty's
definition: Only dial-up for Internet).

But for now it's time for some food and beer and to put my feet up for a bit
and try to get over this cold I've been fighting (sniffle).

That cabin's one of my favourite places in the world. I envy you (but
not your cold).

Ditto.
