I've used to look the UK prices for Pentax photo equipent published in Practical Photography in 1997-2001 as being the same as those in US, but only in pounds as opposed to $$. >From the what I heard recently on PDML, they became even higher. However, I also see a sudden price increase on "good" mid-level priced Pentax lenses on E-Bay in January. It might be a fluctuation though. About twelve years ago, the bare LX was over £1600.

The eBay novelty ias worn off for me, however, and I'd be happy to sell them via alternate means. I've had really good luck with buying and selling transactions via the PDML, but there are only so many of us here. Any suggestions regarding other places advertise these lenses? Colwell's SPLOSdb info shows the following numbers from the 2004 time frame: FA* 85/1.4: $500 to $800 depending on condition FA* 28-70/2.8: $560 to $980 depending on condition FA* 80-200/2.8 $945 to $1350 depending on condition Prices seem to have risen since then, however.
