Thanks, Frank! You are correct! Unless I'm mistaken, the '72 Thinline was the first Tele to come with dual humbuckers, and they were discontinued after about three years. The Telecaster Thinline was introduced in '69 with standard Telecaster pickups. The '72 model was the last year of the original production & was a Telecaster Deluxe model with the Wide Range pickups.
