I like it. I also like monopods. Easy enough to carry so I actually take it. I won't recommend any particular brand. Just pick one with sturdy locks and leg sections, otherwise it will collapse on you when you least expect it, and the worst possible time. I think the one I have is the 681b, but I'm not positive. I have a Manfrotto 680B with a ball head. In terms of use and price, it may be my best investment in an accessory.
