In the first three photos, you are looking at windows, about three feet tall. In the others there are low doors, maybe 4-1/2 feet. I forgot to mention that some scenes from the film "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" were filmed at Ta Proem. But don't see the film for that reason. It is dreadful. OT: Ta! (was Re: Cosina 55mm 1.2)
Only association I could think of was an abbrieviation for 'thanks a lot' (though that should be t-a-l, even if 'a lot' can sound like a single word when you say the phrase). First time I heard it I was quite confused a la "hmmm you said goodbye..hmm.. you're still talking to me", but these days I can use it quite comfortably. Worrying! You won't likely buy one on eBay and get it in your hands in three days. If eBay is really an option, why not just wait and get the camera you sound like you really want -- the PZ-1p? As for the zx-m, I have a personal philosophical difference with having a plastic lens mount. I won't expound on it for fear of starting another plastic/metal war, so suffice it to say that a plastic lens mount for metal-based lenses is not a purchase choice _I_ would make. Especially when there are other perfectly servicable manual bodies of other brands that mount Pentax lenses available for less money. hope that helps, patbob ([EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]) - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Re: 2nd body time: Prog+ or KX or, ta dah...the ZX-M!
hi ya pug-sters: w/my mx going down on the calif-yosemite trip, i'm longing for a 2nd body. i leave in three days for a two week stay on the rhode island coast and wanted to bring the pentax gear. i wish i could just "buy" a pz-1p. i don't have that type of cash. i almost managed to purchase that camera from someone on this list for a very fair price but i was 2nd. the zx-5n is interesting but it brings up the whole issue of AF and if i go in that direct, i'd perfer the pz-1p. someone mentioned a program plus. it has smiliar attributes of my cherished mx. i've always liked the way the me super felt but the lack of dof puts that body in doubt. the kx would suit my needs but are rather scarce at the moment. and then i started thinking about the zx-m. catch a break on eBay and u can purchase one for less than $100. i've read the reviews in the camera mags (pop said nice things, the brit mags love it). it has dof, tv, av, m, 2fps. sure it needs batteries unlike the mx and it doesn't have a metal lens mount but for less than $100 is there any reason NOT to buy a zx-m as a manual camera to be used w/my M50/2 and A35-105/3.5? as always, any and all thoughts are much appreciated. be well. robo - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
