[PHP-DOC] table of contents (mess?)
Hi! I have just received an interesting opinion about our table of contents on the manual pages: | I have noticed that there is sometimes a table of contents, | like on the Operators and Classes and Objects pages. Just so | you know they are sometimes done in different fonts, sometimes | they are numbered with base10, roman numerals or letters. Sometimes | the table of contents has descriptions beside the bullets and some | times it does not. Sometimes the table of contents is not at the | top of the page. Numbering is quite consistent, putting the first page from the TOC on the same page as the TOC may not be that good idea, but the TOC sometimes placed above the text (chapters) and sometimes bellow the text (function refpages) may be well confusing. This is a general issue in the DocBook DSSSL (and I think also in the XSL) style sheets. We are familiar with that special placings, but for novices, these can be annoying.
