Re: [PHP-DOC] #27984 [Opn-WFx]: Suggestion: dcumentation alias for ls,move
It has been there for years. Why remove it now? Goba I didn't knew the existence of that alias... What about removing it? :) We can't manage to have that type of alias. function.delete proves that it is possible. But I really don't like this kind of dummy entries.

[PHP-DOC] #27676 [Opn-Csd]: OCI8 functions missing from documentation

I'll restore old files tomorrow with links to new function names. [2004-04-14 07:54:00] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'll fix this tonight, sorry for all this noise :/ didou [2004-04-14 05:45:00] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I agree, the old names should still have a file in the documentation, containing the deprecated note and a link to the new function. This is what we do for all other changed names too. [2004-04-14 05:35:56] msquillace at sogei dot it The online manual now refers to the old function names in a note, but: 1) you cannot search on the old names (e.g. www.php.net/ociplogon doesn't work) 2) the User Contributed Notes for the old names are not available Both features IMHO would be useful, and the latter is invaluable for PHP 4.x users: I think they should be restored, or at least a link to the notes made available. Hi, Looking at mysqli/constants.xml i found that is missing the information for the MYSQLI_CLIENT_MULTI_QUERIES constant, and I Found at the MySQL documentation in pdf format that this constant was renamed to CLIENT_MULTI_STATEMENTS And the documentation for this is: supports the execution of multiple statements specified in a single query string Should this be included as a new configuration constant or should it replace the MYSQLI_CLIENT_MULTI_QUERIES. Modify the xml files is not a big deal, but do it correctly. Regards EnriqueDo You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Net: La mejor conexión a internet y 25MB extra a tu correo por $100 al mes.

[PHP-DOC] #24468 [Opn-Csd]: document image functions that require bundled GD
ID: 24468 Updated by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reported By: mike at wehnertal dot com -Status: Open +Status: Closed Bug Type: Documentation problem Operating System: Mac OS 9.1 PHP Version: 4.3.1 New Comment: This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better. Friedhelm Betz has added a entity to these functions. http://news.php.net/article.php?group=php.docarticle=969360044 Previous Comments: [2003-10-24 11:55:51] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'd mark this as even more of a bug considering we don't really support MacOS 9.1 [2003-07-02 17:20:41] [EMAIL PROTECTED] This function is available as of PHP 4.3.0... not before. And only available with the bundled GD, and your server does not use the bundled GD. Marking this as a DOC bug to document which image functions require the bundled GD. We should use an entity for this. [2003-07-02 16:04:24] mike at wehnertal dot com Description: I can't use imageRotate() in PHP 4.3.1. The manual says it's just supported up to 4.3.0 but I tried the same code on another server using 4.3.2 and it works. Is it a bug or is there an alternative way of rotating an image in 4.3.1? My site is hosted, and my host won't help me out. Here is their setup: http://www3.fsdata.se/phpinfo.php Reproduce code: --- Example: http://www.wehnertal.com/dev/rotate/rotate.php Code: http://www.wehnertal.com/dev/rotate/rotate.phps Expected result: The image is supposed to be rotated in a 30 degree angle. [PHP-DOC] #28011 [Opn-Csd]: bad links to rfc documents
ID: 28011 Updated by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reported By: scyrmaa at eml dot cc -Status: Open +Status: Closed -Bug Type: Website problem +Bug Type: Documentation problem Operating System: irrelevant PHP Version: Irrelevant New Comment: This bug has been fixed in CVS. Since the websites are not directly updated from the CVS server, the fix might need some time to spread across the globe to all mirror sites, including PHP.net itself. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP.net better. corrigé :) Previous Comments: [2004-04-15 16:52:09] scyrmaa at eml dot cc Description: RFCs links in http://ca.php.net/manual/fr/ref.imap.php are linking to (for example) http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfcrfc1939.html instead of http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1939.html (there is a 'rfc' that should not be there) This problem is not present in the english documentation. I have only seen it in the French documentation. -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=28011edit=1
