Hi nerds, Weird. I removed the commented XML from both en/ and ru/ so hopefully it'll build in the future. Granted it's a hack, with the proper solution being to update libxml on the rsync box, or longer term, moving the builds off of the rsync box. We briefly discussed the move recently and here's the brief todo/reminder: https://wiki.php.net/doc/todo/rsync_doc_build_migration Regards, Philip

For some unknown reason libxml2 believes ru/reference/mbstring/functions/mb-strrchr.xml is an invalid xml file ERROR (file:home/docbuilder/phpdoc-all/ru/reference/mbstring/functions/mb-strrchr.xml:107:1) -^ Comment not terminated I tried removing the actual content within the comments (locally, reverted now) and that for mystical reasons solved the problem, although I cannot see anything wrong with the file. This does look like a bug in libxml2, but seemingly fixed in later releases (we are still running very very old version of it on the box). -Hannes

Hello Maxim, I agree, as it builds fine so there is something wrong on the rsync box. I suspect 'svn status' within ru/ there will yield results. Or simply deleting the build there and running it manually. Only Hannes can fix it (access to that box), but he's out on vacation but should return soon. Regards, Philip

Hello ! Can anyone look again at this problem ? May be it is really error related to rsync. Philip, Hannes ? You wrote 14 of March 2012, 8:17:44: >> Interesting. Hello, Friday's update was done, but the problem is the same. Documentation build is now OK. We are no longer talking about the original (important) problem, of course, but the problem in question was introduced yesterday. Oh, it was fixed 73 minutes ago by tmn. Good. :) Regards, Philip

It seems there's some garbage left on edit.php.net or that version is just stale. -- Regards, Shein Alexey

Is that the date we copied the HTML over from docs.php.net? Whatever the case, I suspect something strange has happened on the rsync server, because it should have been built by now. The Russian translation typically builds. I think it'd be worth manually running the ru/ build on the rsync box. Or perhaps 'svn status' within ru/ there would yield a result. However, ru/ is not building currently but that's a recent and unrelated issue. Still though, it should be fixed before Friday. ;) Regards, Philip

Interesting. The docs seem to be building fine on the docs server. Friday morning, please ensure the documentation validates and no errors show up. If it doesn't show up on mirrors later that day we'll need to look into what is going on. -Hannes
