Re: [PHP-DOC] doc.php.net build logs
Thanks! 2012/6/9 Hannes Magnusson hannes.magnus...@gmail.com: Hi All build logs for doc.php.net are now available on http://doc.php.net/logs/ The folders are -MM-DD-HH, and the server builds everything currently 6times a day (we could increase that.. it only takes an hour to build everything..). Currently it keeps the history forever.. :P You can easily see which languages are being built, which formats and why its failing, and whatever you'd like to know. Again, the script is it git[1] if you'd like to change anything. -Hannes [1] http://git.php.net/?p=systems.git;a=blob;f=build-docs-snapshots;h=b753189717289c2ac1f71ea17f38fe1a2e5e26d6;hb=HEAD -- Regards, Shein Alexey

That's a very nice addition, Hannes. Thanks! This will make my life much easier when monitoring/managing the pt_BR build. I think now the heads of the pt_BR build will have time for more than 2000 reviews that are just sitting there for months ... I have set out to help, but so far no one lets me help and no one checks it. Anyway, it's a cool thing that you have shared with we all! 2012/6/9 Klaus Silveira cont...@klaussilveira.com That's a very nice addition, Hannes. Thanks! And once again, thank you for the hard work on the docs Hannes. Do you think some sort of interface (e.g something like Logstash) would be of use for logs readability? If no one else has 'enough' access to the machine, I think we should move forward. Agreed, I also vote we do this move. Kudos go out to Jacques for the many years of hosting but thankfully the doc team now has its own box to do the work. The pb11 box can handle both livedocs and the various doc tasks, namely, revision-check. Regards, Philip

Re: [PHP-DOC] doc.php.net
Today, in a revision break I have been browsing around the various PHPDoc related websites to remind myself what is available and I was thinking that although there is a lot of information, it is not all centralised in one place. I also think it is also quite confusing for anyone new to start contributing. Coming back to an idea I had a month or so ago to write a quick start guide, I thought it might be worth gathering all the stuff that is available and putting together a full resource site. I think the best place to do that would be on http://doc.php.net/ For example, there is the most up to date guide (I could find) at http://doc.php.net/php/dochowto/index.php but the main php.net website links to http://www.php.net/manual/howto (which seems to be the same thing). There is also http://wiki.phpdoc.info/DocLinks and the useful tools at http://www.phpdoc.info/meta/ My idea is to gather all the resources available (with the permission of the owners) and put them all on http://doc.php.net/ with links to everything on that one site. I would also like to have a quick start guide available from the homepage so that it will make it easier for phpdoc members to find everything but also assist new people. Presumably the php.net website can then link to the doc.php.net site. What do you think? Good idea :) This is why we have started that site! We just need some hands to do the porting of the scripts and information. BTW php.net/manual/howto is supposed to be removed by now, I don't know why isn't it removed already. Derick, can you do anything to get that removed? Goba
