A lot of the ones I've seen here in the US are 120, although you
have to check and make sure it's not 620, 116 or something else.
620 cameras can be hard to convert to 120 since the spool size is
different and spool pin size is different also. Of course you
can always respool onto 620 spools, but finding a 120 camera is
easier.

An old 120 Brownie can also be converted to pinhole. One advantage of the
Brownie is that the shutter has a time exposure setting. I just converted
one. The lens was in a brass holder that threaded onto a block of wood
inside the camera, so it came out very easily. It gets 8 6x8 pictures
on a roll. The camera cost me $6.00 at the recent Photographica show in
Boston.

4rd? finger mistake, I meant 3rd obviously :-)

They go for very little money (if you don't get in a bidding frency, with
another eBater!), so buy 3, make a pinhole and a Zoneplate camera and use
the 4rd as it is. Results with this or any other converted (or not)
camera do not depend on the camera itself.

There are 10 on eBay now. Nicely adapted to pinhole use; only
problem is that they do not have a tripod socket.

The new Holgas are great, but is there not a vibe from an old plastic camera
from the 50's.What it has seen in it's time and the crude distinction of it's
own. Not just duplicated. just a thought for those of us who see the worth
of this little gem...
Forgive me if I am being nostalgic.

FYI
Besides the Diana make camera, there is a 'Reliance brand that is identical
to it including the light leaks.it will cost much-much less. I got one on
Ebay for $25.00.
If the name does not matter and you still want a really cool photo, try the
Reliance, good luckjohn

Buy the Holga for $15 from freestylesalesco.com. You will get the same
quality pictures.

Buy a few. Each one is different. A couple I have are actually too sharp.

Andy,

The Diana camera was cheap plastic camera that took 16 pictures on 120 roll
film. The pictures were nice and little soft but the last incarnation of the
box camera without being a box. It's out of production. One hundred dollars
seens overly high for nostalgia. I wish I still had mine.
