If we meet in Los Angeles C where I will be giving a presentation :). There's a half hour between the end of the presentations and the reception. Let's just meet at 18:00. We'll have a half hour ( or an hour if they're late again tomorrow night ) before the reception. I am driving to SCALE and I have room for 1 or 2 more people in my car. I am trying to leave the SE valley around 6:30 PM on Thursday night and returning Sunday. I normally get home in 11:30 - midnight time frame on Sunday's. Normally we all split the cost of the gas for the trip so with 4 people it is really a cheap way to go. I plan on attending the Eastside PLUG meeting tomorrow so please feel free to ask me about a ride. moin moin, SCaLE 8x is coming up in a month. We should start organizing ride and room sharing. http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale8x/ AZLoCo has already started working out some ride-sharing. They have one vehicle with room for at least one more, but might actually have room for 5. We had at least a dozen people go last year and I already know of 5 people going this year, so let's encourage everyone to carpool. Am 06. Nov, 2007 schwätzte Dennis Kibbe so: Registration for SCaLE 6x[1] is now open. The dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 8-10, 2008 at the Westin Los Angeles Airport. SCaLE is a great little conference that's big enough to have good speaker and exhibits but small enough and close enough top Phoenix to be affordable. I was planning on going as LOPSA was going to provide system administration training. Despite the initial request from SCALE we've not been getting any response, so I will likely skip it again this year.
