[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Using Moose from networked PC
Doh!!! I made exactly the same mistake! Set it up fine on one PC, then when I set it up on a second PC I forgot to set the web address and left it as localhost. Perhaps a tweek to the code to make 'localhost' in the web address change when you change the server address (why would you want them to be different anyway?) -- rickwookie rickwookie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6397 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27306 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] intermitant problems logging into alien bbc
i have had a sb3 working for a long time, recently i have been having a 50% failure rate logging into the BBC, the response is normally "unable to open remote url" Has there been any changes that might explain this or is the BBC unable to cope with the demand, -- Achtoty Achtoty's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4505 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29111 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I'm not the right person to answer this, but you can look for the addDispatch calls in Slim/Control/Request.pm. This shows which method that handles the command, for the example above you can see that the "playlist add" command is handled by Slim::Control::Commands::playlistXitemCommand. anonymous247;150134 Wrote: > > Is there an API doc for the Slim::* classes compiled from the comments > in the code somewhere?I don't know, there is some information in the > slimserver web interface under Help->Technical Information but it isn't so detailed. anonymous247;150134 Wrote: > Is there any way to take advantage of this to accomplish what I want? > Do I have to return an array of tracks from the > getNextDynamicPlayListTracks function? At the moment it expects an array of > tracks and won't work with something else. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Using limserver & squeezebox remote to control videoplayer
Hello azinck3, Thank you for the heads-up on the Videobox plugin. I totally missed it when scanning all the available plugins with the functionality I'm looking for. After trying it out, I came to the conclusion that it is a good start, but not completely functional (for me at least) at the moment. The problems are: It is Windows only and it is build upon Windows Media Player. So no VLC yet :-( But the biggest drawback is that it doesn't work with the new Squeezebox 3 display. I can control the program with the Slimdevices remote, and also start a movie, but the display keeps saying "VideoBox Plugin". Maybe somebody can bring new live to this project. The previous developer stopped working on it in February 2006, but you can download the sourcecode from http://sourceforge.net/projects/videobox/ and use it (according to his notes in the ZIP-file). Or maybe someone is willing to develop a new plugin that is really OS independent like I suggested before. Please let me know if you have any idea how to get this working! -- avkooi avkooi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8175 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29064 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
