Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SqueezeScrobbler 1.0forSqueezeCenter 7.0
FYI I realised that a lot of problems seem to be coming from the fact that the first message in this thread links to SqueezeScrobbler v1.0, which probably doesn't even work with the current version of SqueezeCentre! I've edited the first message to refer to the release page rather than any specific release, and I also uploaded a new release that just allows the plugin to run on v7.0.1 v7.1 without changing the install.xml file. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SqueezeCenter 7.0 beta versions of my plugins
Erland, I made some progress over the weekend. Slim Devices tech support had me download the latest nightly build of 7.0.1. Now I can see the settings pages for both CustomScan and CustomBrowse. However, when I try to follow your instructions on the SlimDevices wiki for setting up classical music browse menus, I don't see some of the items you refer to. For example, I can't find a Scan link beside the Custom Tag scanning module to click. Similarly, under CustomBrowse settings there is no Edit Menus button. I tried switching to the ClassicCB skin, but these items are still missing. Perhaps I am reading an out-of-date guide (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Setup_browse_menu_for_classical_music). Is there a more accurate guide, or am I still missing something? Your help is much appreciated. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce]: iPeng 0.4 iPhone / iTouch plugin
Cool, cool cool! Some hints. 1. SquezeCenter (not only iPeng) troubleshooting rule #1: Don't re-install. SC keeps most of it's settings so usually that does not help. For the 404-Error, that looks like an upgrade issue, please delete plugin-data.yaml (see Installation on penguinlovesmusic.com and re-start the server. Apart from that: What OS are you on? Which version of SqueezeCenter are you on? Have you used prior versions of iPeng or is this a clean install Where did you install iPeng to (full path) David, your problem sounds like an update issue, please try to make sure you delete the plugin-data.yaml and also make sure there's no data left in yourhomefolder/Library/Application Support/SqueezeCenter/HTML and yourhomefolder/Library/Application Support/SqueezeCenter/Plugins (on iPeng data, that is, other plugins may reside there just fine). NFLnut, can you connect your iPod to the default skin (yourip:9000), what is your IP? You said you can connect to iPeng from another Computer, is that a different one from the one the server is on? Can you access internet sites from the iPod? This sounds more like a connection issue to me. @vitor: Did you finally try the WOL link i posted in the other thread? When I select PLUGIN_CUSTOMSCAN_SETTINGS in the CustomScan settings page, my browser (both Firefox and IE) hangs waiting for a response, so the manage scanning page is inaccessible.
