Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update/PartyShuffle Plugins for SC7.0
Hi I installed the itunes update plugin but can't get it to work. When I play songs via squeezecentre, no song seems to get updated in itunes. Itunes update is listed between the pluggins, but when trying to reach the settings I get an error page (a 404). Do you have any idea how to troubleshoot this? I'm using Squeezecenter 7.0.1 and Itunes 7.6.2 on a windows XP. My players are all softsqueeze. Thanks in advance! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AlenBBC Trouble on QNAP 109
SSODS/SSOTS is a special build so the SSODS/SSOTS instruction must be applied first and usually instead of the generic AlienBBC instruction detailed on the Wiki. In particular the custom-convert.conf seems to have mplayer.sh which I think is not to be used with SSODS/SSTOS as per the instruction to change the standard cuistom-convert.conf. http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods_faq#toc20 -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49363 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] A couple of MusicIP questions.
Hi Brian, You should look at setting MIP to run in headless mode, then when you have done your stuff in the MIP GUI, just reload the MIP headless page and then a rescan with SC and should be job done! This is the strongest way of using MIP and SC together, otherwise if you close the MIP GUI then MIP stops. If you replace the original MIP interface with my improved MIP headless interface you will get a filters button so you can check that the filters are viewable. Then if you reload from SC they should appear. (should ;) See my site for further details. -- cparker www.spicefly.com - Visit for an enhanced Interface for MusicIP and tips and tricks for integrating with Slimserver! cparker's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2083 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48339 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube (Automatic MusicIP DJ)
Thanks Waldy Good to know :) I'm looking to improve the robustness of the playlist tracking which will hopefully iron out the reported strange issues. SugarCube looks for the new addsong notification from SC, so if more than one track is loaded it will receive multiple addsong notifications from SC which will cause SugarCube to fire multiple times and maybe this is the problem. I'm currently investigating how I can get around this and also looking to replace the web request method to MIP which may also help. It doesnt seem to have the problem if adding a smaller album of say 4 or 6 tracks. However seems quite random sometimes, not sure what is causing it. I think most of it will work but the SC code which handles FFWD/REW is being rewritten in 7.2 so that functionality will probably break in the near future. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49381 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

What I *didn't* do before was visit the headless page after creating the filter. I still haven't quite sussed the relationship between the GUI and the headless server. Is it the case that the server needs to be kicked in order to pick up changes made by (or when using) the GUI?
