If you launch it from the Dynamic Playlist menu or from the Dynamic Playlist mixer you can create a new playlist in SQLPlaylist of the type "Top rated for album", this playlist type has a minimum rating option. If you launch it from the TrackStat pages, there is no way to do it in the current version. In some TrackStat version far in the future my goal is to make it's behavior more configurable and this will include things like this. However, I'm not sure if I'll ever get there due to the limited time I'm able to spend doing plugin development. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) 'My download page' (http://erland.isaksson.info/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52684 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MultiLibrary Problem (SC 7.2)
I suspect the problem is that you have a lot of artists in your library. Could you try remove the following two lines from the Plugins/MultiLibrary/Templates/standard.xml file: Code: The result of this should be that the artists parameters are no longer shown when creating or modifying a library. If that doesn't help, try to also remove the following two lines: Code: The result of this should be that the genre parameters are no longer shown when creating or modifying a library. If any of these things work, I'll consider including a pre-made template for this in a future version. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) 'My download page' (http://erland.isaksson.info/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53066 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] MultiLibrary Problem (SC 7.2)
Hi, yesterday I tried to get the MultiLibrary plugin working to separate my "normal" music from the classic music in my collection as described in the nice wiki. But unfortunately I was not very successful as I didn't even succeeded in creating the first standard library: As described I choose to create a new standard library by selecting "Create new Library"->"Standard Library" and wanted to create a library only containing the music files under the path /audio/music/classics, but I could not find the described next button anywhere in the library creation form. After several tries I got the feeling that this may be somehow related to some kind of timeout. Loading the library creation form after choosing to create a new standard library really takes some time (around 3:30 minutes) and after this time the displayed form usually contains several fields to include/exclude folders, songs by comment or by genre. But I noticed that there were sometime way less checkboxes for exclude genre then for include genre (see attached screenshot) and after some tries I was even more surprised to notice a new list for selecting artists to include... At this point the question for the size of my music collection and the hardware may arise. My collection contains about 80 genres (I actually got to clean this up a little) and 5000+ artists (due to some nice compilation albums...) and the SqueezeCenter is hosted on a ReadyNAS NV+ with 1GB of RAM. Is this a known issue, when loading the library form exceeds some threshold and is there a way to resolve this ?? Maybe I have to clean up the standard library template for my purposes (i.e. remove the genre and artist selection options and just include the folder include exclude fields...)? Any ideas?? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
Gharris999, thanks for your comments. I've studied the README and looked at the configuration for your plugin; it's great and I think I know how I will interact. - I'll replace the shutdown/reboot/suspend actions with calls to my program. - I will place a blocker right before my program takes action. Either the machine wakes up and removes the blocker, either it's a reboot and all is cleared. For players statuses I will look into your code and max spicer's as you suggest. I also need to get the list of alarms in order to put the next one into the rtc clock; this way I can sleep/shutdown the machine and not miss an alarm. The CLI makes all that quite easy. Perhaps I can use the Plugins class/module (?) as well, I'll see. -- epoch1970 epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] softsqueeze not scanning through songs
Fast forward and rewind don't seem to work. I cannot get softsqueeze (3.5 or 3.7 tried both) to scan forward and back through flac songs though it will scan through mp3s perfectly. I have tried all the different sound output driver options and also proxied or direct streaming. It has no bit limiting set - but I wondered if it is transcoding - but if so I don't know why. The real transporter works perfectly on the same songs. If you press and hold ff or RWD it will move the track indicator correctly - and then hang or lockup with an audible click when you release the button. The only way out of it is to press and hold pause(stop) or exit softsqueeze. If you stop the song it does seem unstable from that point and you are likely to find it has loaded a different playlist or gone awol in some other weird way. (The screen update seems to stop working altogether and it is possible that it is accepting key pressed but not showing the result of them. It is safer to restart softsqueeze at this point - as though it has at least partially crashed. Any help greatly appreciated!
