Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] XM radio plugin with 7.4?
Hello everyone! After a year or two of putting my Squeezebox aside I decided to hook it up again with the new software. I am an XM radio subscriber paying for additional online streaming. Was a bit disturbed to find the SIRIUS plug-in does not work if you have an XM account. Thought they were SIRIUS/XM now. Anyhow, thanks to a search, I found this thread. I look forward to an XM plug-in being made available. Question while I am here Will Squeezebox work on its own to stream online content without a computer? For example, if I take my squeezebox to work and connect it to their WiFi, can I still get XM RADIO (when available) without the need of a computer to stream it? NJ: No, you need a server to use the XMRadio plugin. For the time being, you'll need to install one of the previous versions of squeezecenter, e.g., 7.3.3. There's a new feature in the 7.4 squeezeboxserver that refuses to perform background I/O during an idle, so I'll have to prepare a new version. The lack of feedback while the application is searching makes it a bit hard to figure out what is going on. If this is the case, you either need to remove the tag in question from the Custom Tag scanning module configuration, or remove it from the Mixed Tag scanning module configuration. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69664 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Import iTunes data from a network computer
If you install Custom Scan plugin, you should be able to use the iTunes Statistics Import scanning module provided by TrackStat through the Custom Scan settings page. I think this currently is the only solution if the paths used in iTunes differs from the paths used in Squeezebox Server. However, please note that at the moment some users have reported problems with the iTunes Statistics Import module when used together with iTunes 9.0 or later. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69620 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
