OK! I removed the old/new SuperDateTime folders from plugins. I
removed/unticked SuperDateTime from the plugins list and restarted. I
then reticked it in plugins and restarted. There was no
difference/improvement in the SDT display.

Strangely there was no SDT folder created in my plugins?

So, I unticked the plugin again (restarted). Installed SDT in the
plugins folder manually, and reticked it again (restarted). There was
still no difference/improvement in the SDT display.

On the Squeezebox I get a cloud icon and the time, but no actual values
at all (eg: Just "Temp" with no temperature after it).

Is there anyway to see what version of SDT the SqueezeCenter things
it's really running? And the fact when I unticked SDT in plugins, and
even removed the SDT folder from plugins, my Squeezebox display looked
exactly the same, maybe means that SDT isn't running on Squeezecenter
even when it's ticked?

Note: SDT is listed as version 5.8.15 in the plugins screen?!?!?

Yes that's right. Have read this earlier. I am just annoyed that at
precent there is no qnap 1-bay with intel processer! Thus I can't run

Simply uncheck the box next to SDT on the plugins tab in the squeezebox
server settings. When you click "apply" it will prompt and restart the
server for you. Once it has restarted, go back into the plugins tab of
squeezebox server settings, find SDT in the list of inactive plugins,
recheck, restart, and your done.

PS - You will also need to delete the folder you renamed during your
first try of updating to 5.9.3. If it is in a standard location for
plugins, squeezebox server is probably still loading it. If that is
the case, you are actually still running an earlier version of SDT.

So Pippin, we have been going a week on the poll and the old icons are

Looking for feedback from other users here - do you see the expected
artists/albums in the recent menus, or do you find that some times they
are not saved? (I only save them when the server is shutdown properly
at present - I am not sure if this occurs in all cases as it does not
sound like it is doing so here?)

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2010-08-16 Thread aspendl828

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response - normally I reboot just using the
Restart option (using Vista). In between that the server will go to
sleep and be woken by the Squeezebox.

Maybe I was too quick about the Playlists - I've only actually done 1
and have just checked (having arrived home from work) and it's now
appeared!!

Also looked at the Recent Artists and Albums and both are still empty
despite me listening to at least one album last night. I don't actually
remember rebooting since then but it has certainly been in sleep mode.
To be fair, it's hardly an issue in the scheme of things - but if I
need to do something differently then I can!

Cheers

Andrew

How are you closing down the server, if squeezebox server is shutdown
then is should save this before it exits. I wonder if closing down you
pc is bypassing this?

Don't understand this one - it should be available in the squeezebox
menus, but it has been known to take some time to become available
after you create a new playlist.

Yes - adding a dummy entry to lists of one track was the only way I
could "fix" the previous problem. A more strategic fix will be
possible with squeezebox server 7.6 as I can change the server code
slightly.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2010-08-16 Thread aspendl828

Firstly I need to echo all the positive comments about this plug in -
absolutely fantastic - Thanks Very Much!!!

I don't see any mention of these issues in the thread, sorry if I
missed them - My recent searches and recent albums appear to populate
fine and are retained. But if I reboot my server then they are all lost
and it si as if this is my first time into Spotify.

Also, if I create a spotify playlist on my PC using the 'normal'
spotify application I had hoped that the palylist would have appeared
on my Squeezebox. This is not happening.

Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

Please take a look at post #2002.

I had the same issues and downgraded to 1.2.1 (look in your

Now I can look forward to the update AND enjoy iPeng.
