[SlimDevices: Plugins] Completely remove Squeezeslave?
Good morning, I installed Squeezeslave to try it out a few weeks ago but the restriction on radio stations less than 44.1khz (Talk Sport in particular...) rendered it a non starter for me so now I would like to uninstall it. I am running it on the same box as my server, a 2011 Mac Mini with Mountain Lion. I have followed the Wiki parts relating to stopping/removing Softsqueeze but according to my server settings/information page it is still running. Here are my results: MNMini:~ nieldm$ ps ax | grep squeeze 90 ?? Ss 0:06.41 /opt/local/bin/squeezeslave -nBuilt-in Output -r15 -Y/var/tmp/squeezeslave.log -F 10272 ?? And then... MNMini:~ nieldm$ launchctl remove squeezelave launchctl remove error: No such process MNMini:~ nieldm$ launchctl remove /opt/local/bin/squeezelave launchctl remove error: No such process MNMini:~ nieldm$ making sure I also tried entering the full path as well. Ultimately I would like to remove it from my Mac completely, but just stopping it would be a good start. Right now I have two players (Softsqueeze and Squeezeslave) running on my Mac with the same IP address and it seems to be messing with my CLI commands Help appreciated. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Inguz on Ubuntu ???
Has anyone got Inguz working on Ubunu? If so I would be very grateful for some help. I've already got Inguz working fine on Windows 8 (LMS 7.7.2) but would like to get on working on my Ubuntu (11.0.4) server. The instructions are very out of date: It's easy to substitute "squeezeboxserver" for "slimserver" but some of the installation folders appear to be incorrect, etc, etc. I've partially installed Inguz - the EQ shows up on the Touch menu, etc but it is incomplete. Any help would be very welcome. Thanks for the reply. I use CleanMyMac for these things. The trouble is that Squeezeslave isn't an app as such, so I have no idea how to apply a cleaner to it. If I could see something I could drag into CleanMyMac I would do it! Am I missing something basic and fundamental here? Surely I must be.it has to be possible to remove, or at least stop, something. The play icon in the Extras/SQL PLaylist and My Music/Dynamic Playlist menu in the web interface should do exactly the same thing regarding playback logic, but they also do a bit different things to refresh the list of available playlists and possibly it could be something related to this that cause the problem. I did not find an answer with a quick search, so I thought I would ask here first in hopes of a quick fix. I'm using LMS 7.7.2 - r33893 with iPeng 2.0.1 on iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.1.1. I've recently switched from Rhapsody to Spotify for my streaming solution (shout out to Triode for most excellent plugin). The better half is not the most technically savvy user. In the iPeng My Apps section, the old Rhapsody app shows up in addition to the new Spotify app. On the LMS web interface, the Rhapsody app is not listed under My Apps. I've perfomed the Flush Cache option in the iPeng Settings section with no success. Also, under the Advanced/Squeezebox Information/Plugin Modules listing, the Rhapsody is still listed as V1.0. You have to disable it on MySqueezebox.com, on the web site. But I'm really surprised it no longer shows up on your server's web interface but in iPeng... All the menus for the online services are managed and created by MySqueezebox.com. All the server-side plugins do is handle the communication and maybe some caching.
