The problem with the playlistman and the network issues all started Is this a manually installed plugin? I would be surprised if that issue had been there for years and nobody noticed. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.0.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I'm still trying to track down why the discovery of my devices comes and goes at what it seems random intervals. As I've mentioned before it almost always helps to restart the server. This time however a restart didn't help. I'm not sure if it is of interest, but in the log to me it seems that after the restart this time it disables discovery explicitly. Here's what you could do: when things are working, fire up the task manager and take a note of the spotty.exe's PIDs. When issues start, repeat and compare. If the PIDs have changed, then likely it had crashed in between, which can obviously cause it to disappear from your phone etc. The other thing I've seen reported before is that wiping the Spotify app's cache did help (on the phone, not in LMS). -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Plugins::UPnPBridge::Squeeze2upnp::beat (185) crashed ... restarting
I guess the Airplay issue was a coincidence, and didn't mean to muddy the waters concerning the UPnPBridge. I don't have any Apple products, but had installed it in an attempt to get the Denon to play nice with something. The UPnPBridge has been rock solid, since yesterday, when I unplugged the Directv ethernet. I will hunt up its address and add it to the config as a block as you describe. I did add the debugging option to the airplay bridge as requested, but see little info in the airplay log. I even rebooted the server after adding -d all=sdebug: Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -i /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml Starting Squeeze2raop: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -d all=sdebug Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -d all=sdebug Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -d all=sdebug Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -d all=sdebug Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -d all=sdebug Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-x86-64 -Z -I -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/raopbridge.log -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/raopbridge.xml -d all=sdebug schizmas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64314 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108890 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

If they both crash, it's not a UPnP issue, but something with DirectTV identifier. Maybe the name, I don't know. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
When I change track (via iPeng) the track plays for a few seconds (10-20) then pauses for 1-2 seconds then starts again. Seems to coincide with purgeAudioCache messages in the logs (more of a guess?) I am running LMS 7.9.1 latest nightly, PiCorePlayer 3.5.0, Raspberry Pi 2B+, USB HRT Streamer II. I've had similar reports on systems where the cache was living on eg. the mounted network or USB drive. Where is yours? Also make sure you are using a good quality (fast) SD card. I don't think there's a Pi 2B+. There's the B+, there's 2(B), and 3B+. What exact model are you using? I don't have a 2 here right now. But IMHO it should be good enough. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I cannot get past the authorization screen to see advanced settings for Spotty. Heh... good point! I probably need to add the helper selection there, too. I think 7.8 did not work as it lacks some of the https support recently added in 7.7 and 7.9. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
You see me manually stopping the server/docker at 08:26, and restarting it at 08:27. Since then nothing. plugin.spotty=info set in Settings/Advanced/Logging would tell us more. Though I would have expected to see any kind of message if there had been a networking issue or the like. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.0.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
it doesn’t say much in the logfile! Except that PlaylistMan can't be loaded, and a ton of what I would assume are networking related issues. Are you using any kind of 3rd party firewall software? Also make sure your Spotify application is configured to be using the same account as you've configured in Spotty. And that you're on the same network. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
