Of course, I'm not sure if that is even honored in the case of the Qobuz plugin, so it could have been dumb luck. As mentioned above, I was just doing some random guessing and knob turning. Really the only way to check is to capture the traffic (Fiddler, tcpdump, etc.) telackey2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57037 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi Craig, I don't know if this is really useful for most users, but I was wondering if it would be possible to warn the user when he is saving the queue to be a new playlist, when he has selected the name of an existing playlist and is about to overwrite it, and does he wish to cancel in order to choose a different name instead, or continue? I have saved enough playlists that this is always a concern now when I make a new one. *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B&W 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite + Material Skin > ifi USB iSilencer > Audirect Beam DAC > Senn IE 80 earbuds *Bedroom:* Pixel 3a Phone + BubbleUPnP + Material/mobile > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 7.9.2 *Music:* Personal FLAC, Radio Paradise FLAC, Qobuz, Spotify Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I think one way to distinguish it would be a single-track playlist. If the track always played OK that way, but skipped when in a multi-track list, it would at least be suggestive. Bu really, the thing to do would probably be to run both the plugin and the desktop app through a debugging proxy like Fiddler, and compare their behavior when playing the same playlist. But I haven't done that. All that said, I *shortened* the buffer size from 30s to 3s, and that seems to have helped. I did that on a whim, thinking that if the above theory was correct, it would have to connect sooner, and download more, the larger the desired buffer; while connecting later, and with less to download, would be less likely to trip rate limits. Who knows, since I haven't actually looked at the traffic, but my very unofficial test last night it played several song through without error which it had been skipping the ends of before. telackey2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57037 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Displaying pdfs
The plugin "Music and Artist Information" supports displaying pdfs (or text files). They can be displayed in a browser (using LMS WebUI or the Material skin), not on a player directly. If the plugin is installed (WebUI->Settings->Plugins) save the pdf as .pdf in the album folder. If you browse to the album, you will find a menu item "Text files from music folder" when you click the "More" or "+" button for a song. reinholdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36070 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111267 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi - I am a newbie to this forum. I’m looking for an LMS player that will display PDFs (of liner notes) that reside in my library folders along with the music files and album art. Players like jriver and Roon will do this. Does such a thing exist for an LMS player? Thanks. David Some of the mobile apps (iPeng, OrangeSqueeze, Squeeze Control, SqueezePad) allow to do this with the help of the Music and Artist Information plugin. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Success: MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube running on Raspberry Pi
Is there a way to automatically add new musicip songs to the database of musicip? Now I have to go to http://localhost:10002, select the location of my music files, and press add music. Another thing maybe some of you will like: I created some automated playlists with this python script. It will create a playlist by musicip and plays this on LMS: Code: import requests r = requests.get("http://192.168.1.29:10002/api/mix?mood=rock&size=5";) print r.content f = open("/mnt/PLAYLIST/Rock Mix.m3u", "w") f.write(r.content) f.close() import urllib urllib.urlopen("http://192.168.1.29:9000/status.html?p0=playlist&p1=shuffle&p2=0";) urllib.urlopen("http://192.168.1.29:9000/status.html?p0=playlist&p1=play&p2=Rock%20Mix&player=b8:27:eb:cc:de:bd";) urllib.urlopen("http://192.168.1.29:9000/status.html?p0=mixer&p1=volume&p2=55&player=b8:27:eb:cc:de:bd";) or: Code: import requests from random import randint c = str(randint(50,91)) url = "http://192.168.1.29:10002/api/mix?album=Radio 538 Hitzone " + c r = requests.get (url) print r.content f = open("/mnt/PLAYLIST/Pop Mix.m3u", "w") f.write(r.content) f.close() import urllib urllib.urlopen("http://192.168.1.29:9000/status.html?p0=playlist&p1=shuffle&p2=0";) urllib.urlopen("http://192.168.1.29:9000/status.html?p0=playlist&p1=play&p2=Pop%20Mix&player=b8:27:eb:cc:de:bd";) urllib.urlopen("http://192.168.1.29:9000/status.html?p0=mixer&p1=volume&p2=55&player=b8:27:eb:cc:de:bd";) You can then automate this with for example tasker or node red, however you like. For example, when I press my flic button twice, it will load the first script posted, and also turns on my receiver at the correct input. HappyStreamer wrote: > My apologies in that case! I really couldn't find anything... Yeah, there's a lot of posts in here - and its not always easy to find what you are looking for. Previous releases of Material had some hacks for the notification and lock screen controls where it would start (then immediately pause) a silent ogg file (then repeat this play/pause every 15 seconds) - and this seemed to work with Chrome. I discovered this was not needed for Kiwi, so removed it. But forgot to check with Chrome. When I did check with Chrome, I found the issue you see. I tried putting back the old hacks, but seemed they no longer worked with Chrome. For the next release, there is a new option to continually play a silent ogg file in the background, and this seems to then allow Chrome to show the relevant controls. The drawback is that this will consume more power... Another advantage of Kiwi is that it does not show the insecure site warning when entering text into search field, etc. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
