Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Spotty uses an icon named "inbox.png" for "Genres and Moods" and some other categories (e.g. "Happy Friday!"). Could this icon be renamed to match its meaning? e.g. "genres.png" And perhaps copy the icon to a new name for "Happy Friday!" ?? You would not need to add new icons, just new files with correct names. If this was the case then in Material I could map onto the correct Material-style symbolic icons. *Material debug:* 1. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Annouce: Squeeze Control, a squeezebox remote app, is now available for Android
I don't think this is within the control of the Squeeze Ctrl. The app It is. LMS doesn't provide the overlay as I haven't found an easy way to do this kind of image processing. just asks the server to send the artwork for the stream. It's up to the server to send the correct one What you can do is use the additional E tag for albums/artists/titles queries, which would give you the external ID. That's something like spotify:album:abc, or qobuz:234039.flac. You pick the prefix to know what service emblem to use. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes the main interface uses mostly standard Android controls, but there's a lot of custom controls in other parts of the app that are not controller friendly. Also to be Android TV certified every part of the UI has to work with a controller even parts that you don't specifically need to use. Every pop up, every menu has to work. This is all without considering tablet mode, which has so much custom stuff, it's just never going to work. I have noticed with the latest Github update, 29ffc486, that both Spotty and Qobuz have a problem rendering the new menu icons and the text that should be displayed underneath them, is now written across the middle of the icon images! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
I was a very satisfied user of Server Power Control on my old Vortexbox server. I just migrated to a Snake-oil based server. Everything is working fine, but attempts to install Server Power control failed. Slightly intimidated by the instructions on the official Github (https://github.com/gharris999/SrvrPowerCtrl) I tried installing it from an alternative repo (https://www.spicefly.com/article.php?page=Logitech-Media-Server-Legacy-Plugins) but that didn't work. I got a bunch of syntax errors in repoers and ended up reinstalling Snake-oil and start afresh. Questions: a) Is there any easier way to get Server Power Control working instead of the process described on the Github? b) Any alternative ways or plug-ins to shut down a server after a period of inactivity?
