I've uploaded the zip file. Hopefully, I did it correctly. The problems
start at approximately the #370 in APPS/QOBUZ/MYFAVORITES/ALBUMS.

Unfortunately I only see traces of the plugin getting the list of
playlists, but not fetching the playlist itself. Maybe you could share
it with me?

Thanks Michael, that was it. One of the accounts needed
reauthenticating, and now its 617 albums are scanning in.

It turns out the other account (my son's) didn't have any albums saved
to it in any case - he just listens to playlists. It's an age thing I
guess!

LMS seems sluggish since I added the extra repository, and I get the

Is there something incorrect in what I do?

2020-05-28 Thread Paul Webster

Adding a repository will not make LMS more sluggish in general ... but
... when you go into the Plugins page (or once a day or so in
background) LMS will check repositories for updates (although there is a
short term local cache).
Sourceforge is notoriously slow in responding (at least to requests from
LMS) and LMS can hang around a bit while waiting which can make it seem
slow.

Moving to a very recent build of LMS 8.0 might help (there were some
changes related to getting plugins partly because of the above).
I don't know if mherger has back-ported those changes to 7.9.3 nightly
yet.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)

I've just enabled the Youtube plugin, obtained an API key, and pasted
that into the LMS settings page.

Youtube is showing in the menu now, but every option is blank, and
searches do not work. I've messed up somewhere!

Youtube has a page asking me to configure oauth settings, and I had to
guess here, as I've been unable to find specific instructions on how to
do it. (I probably haven't searched very well. I'm sure it's in this
thread somewhere, but I could only get search to return the entire 82
pages of posts).

So my best guess is that I've messed up on the Oauth page. Can someone
offer any advice? Thanks!

[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC Sounds integration in iPlayer?

2020-05-28 Thread Wigster

Hi,

I didn't want to polute the main iPlayer thread but I have a question on
BBC Sounds.

I suspect this is a completely different API and not available to third
parties, but:

Is there some way of surfacing the My Sounds list on LMS, in particular
the latest ones. I subscribe to a bunch of programmes and it would be
good to see them in (reverse) chronological order instead of going
through the menus every time. It would require a login etc, and may not
be open to third parties without $$$, but maybe it's doable?

Currently with the unapproved APIs of BBC that BBCiPlayerExtra uses, it
is just about OK - a couple of times a year there is a change which
requires an update.

To try to use a secure unpublished API, I think is just asking for
trouble. I maintain BBCiPlayer and BBCiPlayerExtra because I use the
functionality daily. I have no motivation to tackle BBC Sounds - there
is nothing stopping someone else implementing a BBC Sounds Plugin and
hook into the BBCiPlayer programme playing mechanism (it is just an URL)
- this is what BBCiPlayerExtra foes.

I did a complete system update (to raspbian stretch), re-installed and
re-configured the youtube plugin with new api-key. But I still have the
same problem. With one exception. The videos that worked before with
disabled options aac and vorbis, are not not working anymore at all.

Another trouble I had was that the plugin was *not able to be installed
via the Plugins page* from LMS. For some reason the auto-selected mirror
from sourceforge seems to be down and I found now way to tell LMS to
choose a different mirror.

Maybe philippe_44 as registered user on sourceforge, you can report that
this mirror is down? I found no option.

I've resent the server log. I hope this is correct. If not, I apologize
once again. I've also noticed that in LMS 8.0 streaming media files now
appear under MY MUSIC. This works perfectly for album selection (except
for the 500 album limit). A fix for this would accomplish much and solve
my problem (bypassing the Qobuz plugin). Ringrazie.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin

2020-05-28 Thread cpd73

I was looking at the lyrics for a track ("The Scarecrow" by "Avantasia")
in Material and I noticed the display has invalid characters. In Windows
with Chrome these appear as squares, with Chromium under Linux they're
even weirder! For some reason Firefox does not show the square. When I
look at the cached lyrics file it has:

Code:

Rise to fame â<80><94> time will come

This is in 'vi' - which shows the binary as .

If i Look at AZlyrics.com it has:

Code:

Rise to fame — time will come

Perhaps the "—" is causing issues?

SqueezeCtrl also shows messed up characters, and the default web UI just
shows the "â"

*Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json
2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools
4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.

First of all, let me say great app! Now, here's my issue. :P

I'm unable to output from Squeezelite-X to the Jriver WDM driver in
WASAPI mode. It works fine in DirectSound or MME mode, but obviously
those don't allow exclusive access. Foobar2000 has no problem
controlling the Jriver WDM WASAPI driver, so it appears to be working
fine. I'm able to use Foobar2000 as a DLNA renderer from LMS and then
output to the Jriver driver, but this is a little... inelegant.

So I disabled the Music and Artist- and the LastFM-plugin as well as
Custom Browse and Custom Scan. This worked wonders. RAM usage of my NAS
went from 83% to 60%. LMS is quick and responsive with none of the peaks
for both RAM and CPU. The .db-files are also considerably smaller.
Thank you.
However I really miss the MAI-plugin and I guess the artist pics are
consuming the RAM.
I wish I could only have the Album Reviews and some sort of Bio this is
really what I am after. I love the Material Skin with Lyrics, Bio and
Review.
As for the other plugins I wonder whether Last.fm is so CPU-intensive
but I can do without that.
Custom Browse and Custom Scan were only for the odd missing artists
problem but I have given up on it.

MAI should only use the imgproxy.db and cache.db.

Artist pictures are optional and can be turned off in the MAI settings.

What particular Last.fm plugin?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X

2020-05-28 Thread Jophnal

Hello Team.

Just subscribed to this forum and have had difficulty in verifying my
ID. Anyway:

Lastest Squeezelite-X 2.6.21 has exhibited a problem (where no problems
before).

Playing local network content from LMS 7.9.2 on Readynas (Debian) files
will play for a random period (3 minutes, 20 seconds before the end) and
then playback will pause. I note one thread on my Ryzen 1700x then
shoots to 100% CPU usage for 10-20seconds, then magically goes back to
1% and playback finishes.

It is random - does it 3 tracks in a row, then none for a track or 2,
then 5 in a row etc.

Doesn't do this with Spotty/Spotify streaming, just local MP3 content.

What can I do to assist in tracking down the cause of this issue?

Thanks.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin

2020-05-28 Thread Theriverlethe

I'm having an issue where forcing transcode to PCM (for a problematic
DLNA renderers) causes the qobuz plugin to fail playing tracks. This
seems to happen whether I force transcoding through the UPNP plugin or
the "file types" settings page.

Rise to fame â<80><94> time will come

Is it only this one particular case or any of the other "-", too?

Did you define a folder to store Lyrics in? If so, could you please send
me the file for this track?

Of the 703 lyrics files I have, 24 seem to be corrupt. I searched for
the "â" character as this always seems to precede the corrupt bytes. For
the track I mentioned, all the em-dash characters are corrupt.
