The Radioplayer error is being logged (i.e. https support is the root cause of the erro and also the repository xml errors) and so you are reproducing the error at the expected 30 secs interval. For some reason it gets out of control on @bins system and doesn't wait 30 secs. I suspect Radioplayer needs/checks for TLS 1.3 which was only supported from OpenSSL 1.1.* onwards and this causes the initial error. Ok, regarding quotes, Im going to have a fix for that in the next update. Its indeed related to quotes not being correctly encoded in the JSON being sent to the server. Tony T wrote: > I wonder if the App will be updated for iOS 14. What updates do you specifically expect? There probably will be a privacy option for the clipboard thing - although technically that has been communicated for years (at least on the blog). And then towards the end of the year I have to remove the web browser, Apple requires that. I was considering home screen widgets, but they are really hard to make useful and since they require Swift they would at least double the executable size of iPeng, Im not sure thats worth it for something essentially just being a big icon for an individual player. You cant display anything useful on them because they are completely passive. Might wait with them for the full Swift rewrite Im working on. bins wrote: > I disabled the "show on air text" and it's been playing for 40 minutes > now (so far) with no pause or buffering. I think the text option must be > what was causing it. The OnAir text is current track/program info for live streams and is retrieved from the RadioPlayer siet as well as a BBC site. Attempted fetches from the RadioPlayer site causes the "error fetching RadioPlayer BBC " message Attempted fetches from BBC site cause the "error fetching BBC segments" The fetches should be retrieved only once per 30 secs even if there is an error. The attempt to get data RadioPlayer is not only failing but in some way - the timing is broken and trigger an immediate retry. While it is possible the https is the underlying cause - it is strange other users do not have this same problem. So it is possible there is another cause but there is a bug to be fixed to prevent the immediate retry of the http request. There is a situation with LMS on Windows where some users have https issues and it is not clear why only a few users get the problem. I do not know the workings of SSL/TLS but the security process relies on stored certificates and I have seen one case where corrupted certificates cause strange issues. So as a matter of course we try to gather as much details of associated SSL & OS software on a users system to find critical packages/modules. Since your issue is a new manifestation - I am interested in knowing what version of Openssl is on your system - just run the command "openssl version" bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Looking through the log you posted. I didn't appreciate how many BBCOnAir messages were sent - normally failure would mean one attempt every 30 secs but it is non-stop. Not sure if this is also a bug. The rapid and frequent try & fail would definitely load the processor. The other messages are also a bit odd. It implies that replies with audio from BBC are taking a long time - for example 12.9 & 5.8 sec delay rather than typical 100-150msec. Well the skill talks to LMS and not to the players directly, just as the GUI does. So I dont see this working without a server in the loop. philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111443 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It would be great if this were extended to support discontinued products (as squeezebox) and open-source projects like WLED, the most valuable effect would being able to use 'smart' devices with alexa even after their manufacturer goes belly-up and takes their servers with them. (like Best buy's insignia products) I mostly use my squeezeboxes as radio's and only use mysqueezebox.com, wouldn't itbe possible to directly control the on/off, volume, channel from alexa with this, bypassing LMS? pacc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32312 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111443 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I did post here a few weeks prior to enquire about its removal, and no one seemed to care. If you use the Material APK, it will show controls on the lock screen - but not coverart. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
