That is somewhat of an issue. Because I myself am more comfortable with the interface being in English whereas my kid (who uses the mobile device and thus for whom I installed Material) rather sees Dutch. It would be nice if the language could be selected per device, but checking the cookies that my own machine sends to LMS it seems that in the main interface language is a global setting as well, be it that the main interface allows changing the language on the fly whereas Material requires a restart of LMS? gordonb3's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71050 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, that's becaause 2.6.0 tries to detect if the app is fullscreen, and applies the padding. Detecting full screen does not seem to work on all devices, so for 2.6.1 it will do this for all iOS devices - even those with a home button, where its not really required. Also, for 2.6.1 I've removed the longpress handler from the 'Now playing' bottom nav button. This should -hopefully- help when swiping up from the iOS bar at the bottom. *Material debug:* 1. My understanding is that ?ios adds a few pixels of additional spacing between the iOS task switching bar you can see at the very bottom of your screen shot, and the "Wiedergabe" icon you see above it. Some people were triggering the iOS task switching when trying to use the Material Skin buttons at the bottom. I missed @bluecbeeryale's comment about not upgrading to keep from breaking SDT. I have been maintaining the weather.com version of SDT since ~2014 when Greg Brown was no longer able to. I actively use it on several Booms, Touch, Radio, and a RasbPi with a 7 inch screen. I plan to continue to use LMS and maintain SDT to keep it compatible with the latest versions LMS for the foreseeable future. I was previously running Max2Play (Ubuntu 14.04 trusty) on an Odroid U3 with IO::Socket::SSL version 1.965. I was having similar issues with a different plugin @mherger recommended that I update to an IO::Socket::SSL version greater than 2.0. He indicated that @bpa had determined that some connections using IO::Socket::SSL versions lower than 2 were not reliable. I ended up moving to a RasbPi and piCorePlayer that currently has IO::Socket::SSL version 2.068. After the upgrade all my issues were resolved. I am not sure if it was IO::Socket::SSL or some other component that was updated that ultimately fixed the issue. @bpa also posted that Max2Play needed to be updated to at least Buster or Stretch. That wasn't supported on the Odroid U3 which drove me to move to RasbPi. See this link for the related discussion. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?99537-Announce-Music-amp-Artist-Information-plugin&p=977476&viewfull=1#post977476 Good luck. I installed this interface for use on a mobile, like it very much but I'm having trouble finding where to change the interface language. I love SDT and am not convinced it is the problem at all, esp. since i can see from CURL the API is up, and I can in fact see the communication if I wireshark the transaction to the statsapi.mlb.com host. Admittedly, my system is rather "old". I don't dare upgrade for fear of breaking SDT.. which believe it or not we use more than we do list to music anymore. I -think- your issue now is related to the long-press code attached to the now-playing button. Long-press here switches to song info. Thinking about this now, and I feel that's pretty odd - as it switches tab. So, I've removed this for 2.6.1 so sliding in the middle should now work. The browse and queue buttons still have long-press associated, so if you slide with these you will get the same issue. Would be nice if you could checkout the version from github and confirm if this fixes things? If you do checkout the github version, I -think- you will need to clear Safari's cache to ensure the new code is used. *Material debug:* 1. Thoughts? I am not experiencing any issues. Possibly a temporary outage for those 2 sites. Has the issue resolved itself or are you continuing to see these errors in your log approximately every 5 minutes? I sort of remembered that someone reported a similar issue with the Foobar 2000 Control Point plugin, so I would not be too surprised if there was a problem lurking somewhere, not seen with more common CPs, e.g. because they use a different UPnP call (or events). Also, if you could actvate the upmpdcli log on Moode, and send me the data for the sequence which you are trying to use, it could probably help. Anyone else having an issue with SDT and MLB score updates? I'm not exactly sure when the issue started, but i'm no longer getting game schedule/scores at all. In the log I get this: [21-08-11 11:34:47.3356] Plugins::SuperDateTime::Plugin::gotErrorViaHTTP (6844) error getting https://statsapi.mlb.com/api/v1/schedule?sportId=1,51&date=2021-08-11&hydrate=team,linescore however i can "curl" that url for the API just fine. Add "?ios" to Material's URL. This will add padding to the bottom. I had made a change in 2.6.0 to try and auto-add this padding in certain scenarios, but I guess that fails here. Perhaps I should just always add this for iphones? My reason for not doing that was to not waste space on older iphones with the home button. *Material debug:* 1. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I have finally upgraded from an old iPhone6 to iPhone12Mini Is there a way to move the bottom part of the Material skin up a bit so that swiping up (action to use instead of now non-existent Home physical button) so that I can avoid an up-swipe turning on Now Playing info screen? I have seen thatt there is something similar in Android app. [image: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210811/26d4d471fc4995641f6d82a1cb6f7292.jpg] Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com author of \"now playing\" plugins covering radio france (fip etc), planetradio (bauer - kiss, absolute, scala, jazzfm etc), kcrw, supla finland, abc australia, cbc/radio-canada and rte ireland Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
