I really-read my code yesterday and even trace back when I added that group check and it was very very early before I started logging properly changes. But I know I made lots of changes in the volume management to handle properly the risk of volume change échos and there might have been some issues with groups that are not needed any more. So my intent today was to remove that group limitation and test a bit. NB: one of the most painful issue in these volume alignement is that LMS has a its own strange volume levels (0 128 or a more linear mode that does not really help) and its not always easy, as silly as it sounds, to have a stable point when CC changes to N on his own, then LMS by echo changes to P and P sent back to CC does not echo with N (yes) LMS 8.2 on Odroid-C4 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 5xBoom, 2xDuet, 1xTouch, 1xSB3. Yes, but to no avail as it still crashed. One thing puzzling me is why your -c command doesn't specify a different folder for the authorization file as the inbuilt "helper" seems to (albeit unsuccessfully) - see extract from log below: -c defines the cache folder, where the credentials file should be stored. But I've just heard back from a friend (Win7, Perl 5.14.1, LMS 8.3.0, Firefox, DPL 4.0.2, DPLC 0.4.0). He's had no problems saving a DPLC playlist or any other dynamic playlist as a static playlist. And the static playlist is listed in the LMS Playlists menu as it should be. Maybe try saving one of the built-in dynamic playlists (e.g. songs random by genre) as a static playlist. If that works, the dynamic playlist in DPLC could be the problem. Are there any error messages in the server.log that might indicate why this doesn't work on your PC? If not, set the log level for DPL4 to *info* and check again. The last option is to set it to debug. I don't think I'll be able to solve this mystery this year because I'm leaving for the Christmas holidays tomorrow night. But I'll check my mail tomorrow before leaving. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Dynamic Playlists 4
Dynamic playlists that use the DPL4 *cache option* cannot have a track limit because DPL4 loads *all* tracks matching the dynamic playlist's search parameter into the cache in one initial database query (more detailled explanation in DPL upgrade FAQ). That's why you can't set a track limit in DPLC for them. DPL 4 will then add small batches of tracks to the players's current playlist. The -Max. number of unplayed songs- pref in DPL's settings is a global setting for -all- dynamic playlists that determines the number of new unplayed tracks to be added per batch. But I suspect that the new -Save as static playlist- feature in DPL*4* could be exactly what you're looking for. Please give it a try. I've enabled it by default in 4.0.2. In DPL's menu (LMS default skin) you'll see a new control icon next to the names of dynamic playlists that looks like an old floppy disk. Use this to save the track results for your dynamic playlist as a *static* playlist. You can set a track limit (max. 4000) and a playlist name. For '*bug reports*' (https://github.com/AF-1/), *FAQ* (if available) and more detailed information about my plugins, please see the '*GitHub*' (https://github.com/AF-1/) page or the *first post* in the support thread for a plugin. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: ShairTunes2W - Airtunes on LMS (forked version with Windows support)
Hallo Im running my LMS on a TrueNAS Box. (FreeBSD) I have no problem airplaying to my Touch, but when doing it to my Reciever & Radio I get no Sound.
