Can�t get Spotify
Is there an easy way to get Spotify on my LMS. For some reason Spotify cannot connect to my LMS. Ive been without it for more than a year. I get a lack of credentials message when I go to LMS settings. Im using windows 7. I have a premium subscription and I can get Spotify on my SONOS system. Im not a computer whizz so Im looking for an easy way to get Spotify. Thanks for any help. Update: I found that Slacker(LiveXLive) was streaming from a different device, I was able to get the service back. Now if I could only get Spotty back! Thanks. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Lost Spotty, now Slacker
My SB ecosystem is slowly narrowing. Recently I lost the Spotty(Spotify) service and just now Im having a problem streaming Slacker. Is anyone having an issue with Slacker or is Slacker not supported by Msb.com? I do know that Slacker is now called LiveXLive. I apply the Spotty plugin and go to advanced settings. I try to add as a account member and ad a client id but it does not take. I get a message to download Microsoft visual C 64 but that download fails. Thanks for your help. Recently, for some reason, I cannot get Spotty. I have tried getting the plug-in but I can only find one of Michaels Spotty for Spotify plugins. I cannot find the Spotty Helper. Losing Spotty periodically occurs every so often. Can someone give me advice to get Spotty back. Where do I find the Helper? Is the Web Browser still functional? I entered yourclassical.org and could not play any of the classical programs ( symphonycast, performance today, etc.). I may be doing something wrong. Thanks to everyone who helped me thru this SB crisis! I think it is fixed. The final recommendation to leave the clientID blank was the final piece to the puzzle. I had my email address in that area. I think I now have a stable LMS including the Spotify plugin. But, when I open Spotty in LMS, all the categories are supposedly showing and available, BUT they are all empty. Prior to my Spotty issue I had many saved albums et cetera. Now in LMS they are empty. Outside of LMS, on my Spotify app they are present and functional. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Problem: can not auto connect to LMS
Received an email that requested a new password for Spotify for which I complied. Woke up this morning only to find that my players have disconnected from LMS and tried a reboot to LMS . Received a message that spotty.exe has stopped working. I went to LMS settings under plugins and Spotify plugin was active. This issue interrupted my automatic reconnect to LMS and so none of my players could reconnect. Under the LMS plugins I could not find the Spotify Helper plugin. Not sure where it might be hiding. I guess I need some advice my squeezbox ecosystem has become a vital part of my daily life. I love it. Thanks for any assistance. Seems that my LMS was caught in a never ending scanning circuit which caused the playlist save feature to be nonfunctional. I rebooted a new LMS and all was fine. Must have somehow became corrupted. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Napster/Rhapsody non functional
I was recently charged a subscription fee, yet I was unaware that I still had a Napster account. I am fine with finding this but Napster does not function on my Squeezeboxes. I can pull up a record selection and the playback appears to be playing (ie the count begins) but when the counts approaches about 20 seconds it reverts back to zero and begins again. All this and absolutely no sound from the SBs. Can anyone assist me on this. I do not want to be charged for something that doesnt work. Thank you. FWIW imo , I much prefer the older layout of ipeng to the most recent version. I cannot explain it much more than that, but when you are designing the next major version I hope you keep that in mind. Is there a pluggin for Spotify? I've been away from this forum for a while. Recently I installed a new router system and either coincidentally or accidentally when I went to listen to Spotify recordings they were non playable. I now have no way to choose recordings. My Playlists that have Spotify albums in them are non playable. Is there a plugin like there was in the past and perhaps after my new router I need to reinstall? I would appreciate any help with this Spotify loss. I have a premium subscription but Ill have to drop it if its no longer compatible with SB. Ill be very very disappointed. THANK YOU. Immediately after purchasing a subscription to exploringmusic.org I was able to enter the URL into the ipeng web browser and I could log in and proceed to listen to programs. Last time I logged in was about a week ago. Today I went to that web page in the web browser and when I attempted to log in I found that the log in function did not work. Other options such as join worked fine but not the log in. I'm using Classic Ipeng but I tried Ipeng 8 and some thing. It worked fine about 1 week ago but not today. Any ideas? Thank you. I am a recent subscriber to Spotify + Triode's plugin. I just noticed that some of the albums are missing tracks. For instance, the DG recording of Sibelius' Violin Concerto played by Anne-Sophie Mutter is missing the 2nd movement. This is not good for listening to classical pieces. Any suggestions? Thank you. I went to mysb.com, did an uninstall then to the Media Gallery and could not do an install. If that means anything regarding the extent of the issue. Pippin, maybe you can advise me. I have playlists made up of many radio stations and music service stations. On the playlist listing page, many of these stations are displayed as an http:/ label (which I assume is a URL. Others show up as the actual stations (eg, Solo Piano, WBZ, etc). Is there a way to get only the familiar call letters rather than the hard to figure out URLs? It seems like it has been like this just recently. Thank you. Anyone know when Rhapsody will be fixed? It's going to be my music source when MOG is gone. Rhapsody crashes devices at this time. One thing that is missing on the new V 7.7.0.2 is the volume control on the playlist screen. The reason I miss this is that if I switch tracks or stations while on this page and if the volume is then loud then I cannot lower the volume quickly to avoid waking the whole house. Is it possible to get that control lever back? It's not a big problem but getting it back would be nice IMO. Thank you. I have a subscription to Rhapsody which I will use 100% when ATT pulls it from us. Not happy about that. I am now finding that Rhapsody is causing crashes of some devices...Touch and Radio. I tried Spotify a while back and for some reason I had frequent difficulties with it . I cannot remember what those problems were but as I recall the Spotify service required constant maintenance or something like that. I actually like MOGbetter and I used Rhapsody also. With the latest update of ipeng, I tried to use the add to... feature. I like to add certain radio stations to a playlists of a specific genre (jazz;talk radio;classical;...etc.). For some reason with this latist update, the feature does not seen to be functional for me. It had previously worked fine. Any suggestions? Thank you.
