Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi there, just tried the material skin, but want to revert back to standard. Unfortunately, in settings I can no longer find an entry to switch layout. If deleting material plugin, the system comes back with a somewhat strange layout, but with the layout settings available. Undfortunately, there is no entry "Standard" left, which would allow me to choose the infamous green greyish LMS standard. I am stuck. Any ideas? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Hi Michael, and first of all a huge thank you for this great plugin - should be that with the biggest add-value according to my kids... Is it possible to sync the spotty plugin display state with the chosen player in web-ui? To better explain: if a different player is chosen in the web-ui, usually all that is done in the left side-panel further on applies to that player. Not so with the spotty plugin. If I change player, it still displays the account related to the player initially chosen. If I switch account, this applies to the player initially chosen. Thanks for having a look at this. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
Hi there - and first of all thanks for the great plugin. I have switched over from Triode/RichieZed's SpotifyFamily Plugin. My kids have some LMS playlist referencing songs in spotify. Now the urlscheme for those songs was something like spotifyfamily3:track:2MHCiOohBZEQuLgDTPvSzF, whereas the scheme for Spotty looks like spotify://track:2MHCiOohBZEQuLgDTPvSzF. I thought that replacing the leading spotifyfamily3: with spotify:// in the playlist files would do the trick - just rescan the playlists and that's it. Unfortunately, it seems that LMS will keep the old URL somewhere in its database. As soon as I deinstall the SpotfyFamily plugin, the new playlists don't work anymore - songs will play, but there is no info at all about them, just lists of empty items. Reinstalling the SpotifyFamily plugin and having copies of the original playlist files for LMS to scan will show all Metadata in LMS again - but just after the original playlist has once been opened. Looking at the Metadata from the item in the new Playlist, the URL shown in LMS is still the spotifyfamily... scheme. Is there any way that the old playlists could be migrated with LMS database being updated for the new URL scheme? IMHO, that tells the plugin to listen on that IP address, but unfortunately does not configure the spotifiyd to play to that IP address. Hi there, and first of all thanks for all your time and effort. I'll try to do the following as short as possible, no rudeness intended! Setup is: Duet connected to a most recent 7.9 running on Debian (there is actually 3 Servers running on that Debian, all with different ports configured, but just one of them using the Protocol Handler). Tried to get the combination of the Handler Plugin and the official SB plugin running. Browsing works fine, playing always returns "Bad player" on the controller. mysqueezebox.com shows the player as registered, Spotify account working. Helper Plugin shows the same Spotify account as "currently logged in to Spotify" (translated from German). I did full restarts of server, controller and receiver after set-up (no factory reset). This is what the plugin log shows: [09:23:35.091370] check_player:235 unable to create cli connection to 127.0.0.1:9090 These are the corresponding entries in the server log [16-06-27 09:23:34.9054] Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::ProtocolHandler::handleDirectError (179) stream failed - bad player: -1 [16-06-27 09:23:34.9248] Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::ProtocolHandler::handleDirectError (179) stream failed - bad player: -1 [16-06-27 09:23:34.9459] Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::ProtocolHandler::handleDirectError (179) stream failed - bad player: -1 [16-06-27 09:23:35.0979] Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::ProtocolHandler::handleDirectError (179) stream failed - bad player: -1 Did I miss something in the instructions? Hi Andrew, first of all, Whitebear is an immensly useful tool for me, as these days I mostly use JRiver MC as DLNA Server but stream via a SB Touch connected to a Windows Homeserver 2011 based LMS 7.9. There is just one small issue that is bothering me: whenever the WHS returns from hibernation / suspend mode, Whitebear will not be able to find the SB Touch. This is the case for the SB Touch being permanently on, restarted etc. The only way around is to go to the Whitebear console and reset the server. Setup: WHS 2011 running LMS 7.9 (most current version), but 7.8 was also affected, Whitebear, and JRiver MC 20.x. SB Touch connected via WLAN. Several UPnP controllers to connect to JR as Server and Whitebear / SBT as renderer. Are you able to support here, what information would you need from me? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Scan and Sort Tags
Hi all the power users of that plugin, I am wondering on how to combine tags and their sort values to a meaningful structure. I'd like to see the values of (album) artist, performer, conductor, composer, as well as some other custom tags honored in the artist list. I do not use either of the above as multiple value field anymore, because there is no meaningful mechanis of sorting associated. LMS standard does not honor CONDUCTORSORT and PERFORMERSORT. If I specficy CONDUCTOR=CONDUCTORSORT in the Custom Tag sort tag mapping, will this be scanned only when I explicitely let scan CONDUCTOR too (which is already done by LMS)? Same Q regarding PERFORMERSORT. If I use Custom Tags that have an associated Sort-Tag there in Mixed Tag, will the sorting be honored? Example Tags ARTIST=The ABC- scanned by LMS ARTISTSORT=ABC, The - scanned by LMS COMPOSER=Deaf Composer- scanned by LMS COMPSERSORT=Composer, Deaf- scanned by LMS PERFORMER=Anatol Naughty - scanned by LMS PERFORMERSORT=Naughty, Anatol - mapped in CustomTag Sort Tag mapping CONDUCTOR=Swing Stick - scanned by LMS CONDUCTORSORT=Stick, Swing- mapped in CustomTag Sort Tag mapping OTHERTAG=George Gorgeous - scanned by CustomTag OTHERTAGSORT=Gorgeous, George - mapped in CustomTag Sort Tag mapping This should appear in the artist hierarchy under ABC, DEF, Anatol Naughty, Swing Stick, George Gorgeous; sorted according to the Tag values resp. the associated Sort-Tag if existing.
