But I think my problem is that when Ive seen it different is when I maybe didnt connect to my server or something. Ill keep an eye on it and take some screen shots if I catch it again. Can ipeng do this? I often time start an album and listen to a song or two, and then move on to listen to other stuff. But then want to come back to that album and start with the second song. In apps like Spotify, if I open an album and play the second song, the rest of the album plays. Can ipeng do this? I feel dumb asking this bc I feel like I had this problem before, figured it out, and then forgot. The bottom toolbar sometimes shows Artists, Albums, My Apps etc. Then sometimes it shows Years, New Music, Random, Music Folder, More. When it shows the second option group, I have to hit More to get to Artists. I want the toolbar to show Artists, Albums, etc and I cant figure out how the app switches from this toolbar to the other. Amazing app. I've been wondering for a few months about playing a playlist in reverse. I finally came around to ask and I find out that we are using Spotify Connect now! Just fabulous. Also wanted to share my experience which was that it didn't work for me because I was not on the most recent version of Spotty. It can take some poking around this forum to figure out which is the latest version, and then in LMS settings I was confused because my enabled version of Spotty was set to auto-update, but then the MOST recent version (2.3.7) was NOT enabled. I am not up to speed on how Spotty updates are handled but it appeared that 2.3.7 needed to be enabled and that it didn't get auto installed with the auto update protocol. Problem was that I was reading the v2.0 thread and it took a while to figure out that we are already past all that! But figuring it all out was very quick. Jumping right to the question, rather than waiting for the end: can I play my playlists in reverse? I like to play the recent additions first. The Spotify app on iphone has a setting. And the rest of this post: I got my Squeezebox a few months ago. That led to a hifiberry running max2play. I use a desktop to host my LMS and I use the web interface and iPeng to control the players. I had read some of these posts and tried to understand how to get Spotty running with my setup. But today was the first time that I actually looked into the interface and tried to check the right boxes. I was shocked when it took only a few minutes. I see people selling their squeezeboxes on ebay and craiglist because of no spotify support. Hah.
