Do you have the black white headphone icon in the systray? Hi - I'm just getting the feel of the software but it looks great so far. Now if I could get something like this to display on my TV from the wii or PS3.sorry, getting greedy there! :-) Anyway, I'm working on getting things running with Muso on my PC and squeezecenter on my windows home server box. I was playing around with softsqueeze on my PC - Muso was recognizing the player ok, but when I select the softplayer and select a track to play, it was playing my SB3 downstairs. Does the software get confused between the softsqueeze and SB3? Maybe I just haven't found it yet, but how about an option to browse by the folders structure like the squeezecenter software? hmm - I think that may have been user error somehowtried it again this morning and it selects the player no problem. I think it may have been down to the synchronise setting in squeezecenter. FYI I have Muso on my desktop PC and music on WHS - I just added the music using the scan folder instead of using the database and it works fine. I haven't checked the detailed counts yet but all good so far. the streams I'm playing are mostly listen again streams not live if that makes a difference - does the pause / disconnect issue impact them the same way? I saw reference to this in a different thread (not specific to AlienBBC) but as feedback it may be helpful to mention that for windows a restart of the physical machine (not just the server software) may be needed for AlienBBC to complete the install. I have a similar problem using AlienBBC with my squeezebox - usually an hour or so (sometimes more or less) into a streamed listen again Radio 1 show it just restarts for no apparent reason. Just downloaded 7.3 but how do I get rid of the previous version of AlienBBC? I have deleted the Alien folder from plugins but when I restart squeezecenter it still tells me that AlienBBC is manually installed and that it needs to be removed to install the new version. Am I missing something obvious?? I just double checked and the entire Alien folder is gone - but it still shows in the Extension Downloader. Ok - interestingly I just reinstalled softsqueeze from the link in the browser window when squeezecenter was running and it now works fine. It looks like the WHS box has the same firewall settings as the PC (slimserver is installed on both) - so the both allow the standard squeezecenter services.
