For those who have a DS416play, you can set up a reverse proxy on the NAS and don't need a separate box. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MUSO - Support Thread
Hi, I have just downloaded and installed Muso (1.4.32 Trial Version) and have a couple of questions. I'm running the Logitech Media Server on a freenas box and am running Muso on a Windows 7 (x64) PC. After a bit of trial and error I managed to get my collection imported from LMS however most of my artwork is embedded in the music files and has not been imported into Muso. Does Muso import the embedded artwork? In addition a lot of the Album titles have additional info in them ie (MFSL LP). This, I believe is preventing Muso from pulling info from last.fm. Does Muso ignore info in brackets in the Album title, if not, can it? Otherwise you software looks quite promising. tobyjug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MUSO - Support Thread
Got it Squeezebox Server Path prefix: /mnt/Media and Equivalent prefix on Muso \\Freenas\Media. Artwork is now being imported. Thankyou The additional info on the Album tag is used to differentiate between different versions of the same album i.e. Come Away with Me = original CD version. Come Away with Me (24-96) = 24bit 96Khz download from HDTracks. The album review addon for LMS (which doesn't work at the moment) strips any info within brackets from the Album tag so that it can match with the allmusic database. It would be good if you had this option. tobyjug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SlimNAS 1.1 for SqueezeCenter 7.1+
Found a way around the apple lossess problem. By removing mplayer from the slimnas\usr\bin folder and restarting slimserver it's forced to use alac to convert to pcm. Which is OK. When I try to play 24/96 flac files using sox i get the following error. [09-09-30 19:08:20.6042] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::enabledFormat (199) Checking to see if flc-flc-transcode-* is enabled [09-09-30 19:08:20.6044] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::checkBin (240)enabled [09-09-30 19:08:20.6046] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::checkBin (242) Found command: [flac] -dcs $START$ $END$ -- $FILE$ | [sox] -q -t wav - -t flac -C 0 $RESAMPLE$ - [09-09-30 19:08:20.6050] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::checkBin (265)couldn't find binary for: sox -- tobyjug tobyjug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49304 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SlimNAS 1.1 for SqueezeCenter 7.1+
Support for sox on FreeNas! I thought I'd try that, so i followed your instruction and playing 24/96 flac files didn't work - ahhh. Did a bit of searching the forums I came across a temp fix for this. Commenting out the flc flc transcode lines in the convert.conf file and just like magic the 24/96 flac files play - Hurahhh. Brilliant. Normal flac files work - great. Apple Lossless files don't - ahhh. Any ideas why? I know this is just a pre build and if there is a quick fix fair enough, if not I'll just go back to FreeNas 0.69. -- tobyjug tobyjug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49304 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Biography Plugin and The
Have been playing around with my new controller and the biography and album review plugin's and was getting some unexpected results. Trying to get the bios of Bands beginning with The were failing. I then changed the settings of slimserver to not ignore the word The in searches and I was then able to access the bios. Is this a feature or a bug? -- tobyjug tobyjug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60142 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
