The additional info on the Album tag is used to differentiate between different versions of the same album i.e. Come Away with Me = original CD version. Come Away with Me (24-96) = 24bit 96Khz download from HDTracks. The album review addon for LMS (which doesn't work at the moment) strips any info within brackets from the Album tag so that it can match with the allmusic database.
