Mnyb, I run the regular MIP and control it through the console. It is essential to start MIP before Squeezebox Server (SB) so that SB can recognize that MIP is running. MIP has to analyze your music, I archive the analysis and MIP writes 2 tags, ANALYSIS and FINGERPRINT. A slightly odd issue but is this a known one? Sugarcube is working fine, but I tried it for the first time with my boom and receiver sync'd and the seed track plays fine, but when any subsequent tracks play they are not in sync? It is only slight but it is there? If I stop and start the boom they come back on in sync but are out again when the next track starts? However if I add a full album and leave that to play through it remains in sync? Receiver is wired and Boom is Wireless ? Any ideas? -- Blisteringblue 'What am I listening to?' After recently discovering MusicIP which is working fine I'm intreagued by the Sugarcube for the thought a pick a track and away you go mixes. I've donated and have the install parameters which installs v3.02 which as I understand it is fine for my 7.6.1 squeezecentre and SQLite. Well it looks like it has installed correctly. I have the new realtime spicefly sugarcube icon and I have enabled it under the player settings for Squeezeplay as a test for now. Just be aware that you might get problems with 3.5 if you are running ipeng on one of your devices and 3.5 is activated on this player (ipod or ipad). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube Version 2.03 (Automatic MusicIP DJ) for 7.x
According to my knowledge difference between 3.02 and 3.5 is an additional sqlite database which handles the sugarcube data. This seems to interact with ipeng when it is used as player on the ipod/ipad. Then you will observe dropouts on the on these devices. I have also observed dropouts on my SB3 when i played music on the ipod. There is also a thread in the spicefly forum. This is the reason, why i still use 3.02. -- mr_hyde 2 x Squeezebox 3 - SSOTS 4.12 - Squeezecenter 7.6.0 - QNAP TS439 Pro (3.4.4 0718) - 4 x 500 GB Hitachi (RAID5) mr_hyde's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6032 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73988 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Actually a track was found and added in the server.log, without error, but strangely not passed to the player... Anyway I did the following: - Deleting my m3lib musicIP file - Uninstalled SBS 7.6.1 and deleted everything - Regenerated my MUSICIP database (had the ID in tags, so it went fast) - Installed 7.6.1 from yesterday evening without plugins Now I have all my music correctly displayed and mixable. I installed sugarcube afterwards along with trackstat. Only thing I lost in the process was my trackstat database, but that's not a big issue... -- Tartifless Tartifless's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37024 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73988 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube Version 2.03 (Automatic MusicIP DJ) for 7.x
Sometimes its greyed out when its scanning. Try waiting for it to finish and then go into the menus and try to select it. Failing that just select all your music files in the gui window and right click and select Archive Analysis modifies file (or something like that) and it will punch it into the files. Also Right Click in the left window where it has Library and select new filter, and select Match All conditions; Stored Analysis... is missing... This will then create a filter view that will show files that dont have the analysis saved within them, which you may find helpful.
