[SlimDevices: Plugins] LazySeach (and plain Search) doesn't find some artists
I suspect this question may have been raised before, but I couldn't find any appropriate threads, so apologies in advance if I am going over old ground. I have noticed that LazySearch and the regular search on the WebUI does not find artists that only appear on a various artists album. If an artist appears on an album in it's own right, various artist appearances will also be found in the search. The advanced search on the website is able to find artists that only appear on a various artists album. It'd be great if LazySearch would find these artists. In Server Settings > Behaviour > Compilations I have set "Group compilation albums together" and "List albums by band". Are you using MusicIP (MusicMagic)? If so the following bug might be the cause: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3824 There's a partial fix for that one that's in the current nightlies (from a couple of days ago), but there appear to be some residual problems remaining. Excellent - thanks for letting us know. Others have reported some residual problems over that SS/MIP bug so there's definitely something else to be fixed there at some point in the future. It seems to work OK for me, too, but I've not had much time to look into it recently.
